I don’t see how they can keep Slot. Their fanbase is as disgusted with their team as we’ve been this season and they ALL want him gone from what I’m seeing. Seems untenable.

That being said, IF they do keep him and with Carrick keeping the United job I’d say that’s good for us if we can get our shit together next season. I don’t rate either of them. With a top manager, a few top signings, and 1 game a week I think we could be decently set up for a positive season.

Do wonder if they get Champions league that pave over some cracks like did with us.. or they'll still get rid.

True, but he won’t be playing once a week next season and I somehow doubt Bruno will have another insane season like this again when the fixtures are piling up. Their squad should be much stronger with all the transfers everyone is talking about but I wouldn’t be shocked if they go through an Ole 2.0 period.

The feel good factor and post Amorim positivity will run out at some point and even whilst they’ve been winning it hasnt exactly been exciting to watch.

Still think it would be odd for Liverpool to pass up on Alonso. He has a far bigger connection to that club than he does with us.

Liverpool owners aren't much smarter than Clearlake.
