He is right though, MU is bigger than us unless you are super deluded. We just got a more promising future atm, but again it is just potential. Base on history, trophies...etc MU beats us in every way.

Talk about Liverpool and where they are now. Besides we are miles ahead of Manure at this point of time and have a wonderful team spirit while Manure dressing room is crawling with cunts like RioFerdy. We're definately a step up from United right now.

Manures might have a bit better history of winning over the years, but that was mostly because of red nosed Alex.

Since he is gone drinking now, Jose is taking over & Chelsea will be a dominant team in a couple of years.

As we all seen, Jose already made mockery out of Manures. A great timing to place Rooney´s bids, so far. The next bid will follow, soon.

One could argue ManU are bigger than us because they have a higher turnover and a greater global fanbase, but Wilkins acutal argument "best place to win trophies" is bollocks. It might not feel that way, but we have been the most succesful English club in the last 10 years and recently won both European cups in a row.

If I were a neutral player and not a Chelsea fan, I'd surely rather play for a young-and-coming side with burgeoning spirit, the best manager at a debt-free London club with one of the richest billionaires as generous owner rather than at a crumbling club with an average manager, ageing key players and massive debts in fucking Manchester. So much for step up.

One magical posting, I must say.

NO. I believe Chelsea are favorites to win more trophies than United in the next few years with Mourinho (Which means Chelsea are going to be the better team in the close future, I dont care about MU history because really it is not rellevnt.)

Winning trophies doesn't make you a bigger club. By that logic Wigan are bigger than Arsenal...

Jeez get over yourselves ppl, UTD are a bigger club, in every way.

So what they are a country mansion with carp pond, we are the hot penthouse woth concierge over looking the Thames. Both are equally desirable....

No one denies that you're a BIGGER club. We're just saying that it's not a step-down since we're challenging on every front, exactly like United.

So right now, this move won't be a step-down since the trophy winning potential is the same.

Not to mention Mourinho vs. Moyes ..

Really not an issue what he said, just depends on how you want to blow it out of proportion.

The issue is not just what he said in this instance but what he's been saying all season long. During the whole Frank contract saga he continuously criticized the club and more than once drew unfavourable comparisons between our "classless" treatment of Frank and Man Utd's "exemplary approach" with senior players like Giggs. Of course, conveniently forgetting to mention that Utd also hadn't opened contract talks with Rio Ferdinand who like Frank had just one year left on his contract.

I have way too much appreciation for Ray's part in the history of this club to ever knock him. But it's really sad when a past player - one who claims to be a supporter - feeds into the negative perceptions of the club rather than using their public status to challenge it. Just one of the reasons why I have a tremendous amount of respect for Pat Nevin. Publicly, he always sticks up for the club.
