I wouldn't call myself nervous or apprehensive; perhaps its just nervous excitement But I shall let you know how I get on... if I survive that is...How did you feel before and after your first lesson? I don't know if I was lucky or unlucky but the instructor was my father, as this is his second job. - 25 - 167 Posted March 6, 2011 Share Posted March 6, 2011 I was lucky enough to have an instructor with a sense of humour, which put me at ease straight away.No reason to feel nervous or under pressure really, we've all been in the same boat so everyone is pretty understanding of a learner if they make a mistake on the road.Just enjoy it really because eventually you'll probably hate driving after a few years. Done your theory test yet?Mine was down a straight country road, must of gone up and down it about 50 times. I dont want to think about how much i spent on lessons and tests.
