I'm furious

The fact we lost to Liverpool is bad enough but 1 shot on target in 90 minutes? come on, there was no sense of urgency in the last 20 minutes, sloppy balls, taking to much time we should have been pepering there box putting them under un-bearable pressure but there was nothing. I lost count on the amount of times we had potenitially good attacks but fucked it up by making a wrong pass or taking to much time.

I like Bosingwa but Bossy playing in big games = trouble, there was so much room on his side it was ridicolous, Luiz did ok for me we should have started with himat CB and Brana at RB, that was the formula (Ricky/Alex instead of Luiz) of picking numerous big game points up last season, you cant believe it's a coinsidence that the big game score's are so contrasting when Bosingwa plays and when he dont.

I would have took going down fighting and beaten by the better team but there was no urgency and is any-one was going to score again it would have been Liverpool.

A couple of positives (im really clutching here) promosing cameo from Luiz and Stevie ME didnt score (1 in 31 against Chelsea for the "world class" player now).

Lets hope we can bounce back at Fullham.

What would happen if somebody create a topic everytime they get furious after a defeat. I going to create my topic too.:getin:

This isn't just any defeat though is it?

Taxi for Carlo,we should have sacked him when we were at the peak of our bad moment. 3 strikers but no body to supply them.

The bindippers have done the double over us now. After yesterdays resultswe should have been flying. A win today could have put us right back in the race and completely destroyed any hope them murderers had of a CL place.

Not good enough. But then we haven't been good enough all season.

I'd Rather Carlo experiment on less important games tbh.

Yeah, but let's be honest, he can't change the fixture list. He changed the shape at Sunderland and it worked, with Kalou in the Torres role. The signs were there for it to be successful today, alas it didn't. Now let's see what he does at Fulham now, if it's a new shape then we must trust him.

Can we please stop forgetting this was the first time we'd tried Drogba-Torres. It was an experiment.

It went wrong.. Okay. Now let's stop being so furious & wait for the next game

Our coach was really smart to make an experiment in a game like this.blue%20scalf.gif

I'd rather him not experiment in games at all and perfect it in training!

Training is nothing compare to an actual match. The pressure is different, as is the work rate and player mentality. Don't be so naive.

If it had worked we'd all praise him.

Totally agree!!

I don't think a game as important as Liverpool was a good idea to "experiment" we should have familiarised ourselves with a much more comfortable set of tactics. 4-3-3 is what we always use for league games, and more often than not, it works.

Today proved why we don't work with a diamond formation. We don't have the right players for that formation, and much as they sound good together on paper. Torres and Drogba I feel are too similar, much like the debate over Lampard and Ballack when they were functioning in midfield together.

But how do you bench a £50 million player. You really can't do that can you?? :whistling:

Carlo will. As long as Drogba is able to walk, then he'll play regarless of form or atittude.

Expect Torres and Drogba to work together its the same that expecting Mikel to score a goal.

You didn't watch the Sunderland game then.

Lay off Carlo and lay into the ones who actually couldn't give a shit on the pitch.

And your sarcasm doesn't work, so don't bother attempting it.

You are sooo smart. But then TX is right. We should have played 4-3-3, formation that we have played before. We played diamond this season only against Sunderland.
