It's hard to see Arsenal strengthen, but even when they had Nasri, Fabregas, Van Persie, Clichy etc the highest they finished was 3rd.

bit of 'flavour of the month' with Sanchez at the moment. I'm glad we're not making a move for him, let fourth place rivals Arsenal and Liverpool fight it out for him.. I see him as a big fish in a small pond with Chile. He wasn't that effective at Barca his entire tenure and I see him as a short term panic deal tbh

I'd say that's overstating. he was important, sure, but he didn't carry them. I'm not using the cliché about lesser teams' interest degrading his value.

That being said, I still believe this is a case of flavour of the month. he won't be as pinnacle to these teams as everyone thinks.

disagree entirely. where exactly is he going straight to? Hazard will continue to make that leftwing, Willian is showing everytime that he can command the right wing and Sanchez hardly seems like the number 10 we're apparently craving for.

Willian didn't get a chance to light up the World Cup because Scolari kept persisting with Hulk, but we already know his quality.

Sure Sanchez would be a great buy but only if one of the players that play in that 3 behind the striker positions leave, hes an upgrade on Willian but he is very very very good as yous all seen at Barca this season and for Chile. Willian is a very good player as well though, he needs to score more maybe but he had a good first season in my eyes after he got used to the PL.

No attacking player has ever been "super" effective playing for Barcelona since Messi's rise to the core of the team. Henry, Ibrahimovic, Villa, Sanchez, Neymar, you name it. Everyone of them played below their standards after moving to Barca. Oddly enough, Sanchez was only brought to life after Neymar's arrival. They assisted each other quite a lot. But even then, they both are still playing below their top performances there.

I reckon Sanchez would play a lot better would he move to any other team.
