Mechromancer 262
If Di María stays, maybe Isco is leaving. Is our chance.
didierforever 7,349
ATM probably need to get a squad midfielder while selling their 2 out of 6 fullbacks. They have siquera, insaldi and insua as their LBs, juanfran, gamez and silvio as their RBs.But their CM/DM options are only gabi, tiago, suarez and saul while their AM options are koke, greizmann, turan, garcia and rodriguez. That's just 9 players for 5 spots specially since they have just 2 strikers (Mario and gimenez). They probably need to get some cover for mid. Y123CFC 69
Did anyone watch the Spanish Super Cup second leg? I'm glad Atletico won (beat Real 2-1 on aggregate) - I think they can definitely still compete this season despite losing key players. Simeone is a great manager. With Real Madrid, they definitely spend too much on attacking players -their defence was all over the place on several occasions. Think they'll be in trouble when they come up against other top teams this season. stroey

CHOULO19 24,332
Messi is still by far the best player on the planet on his day. Barca looked very impressive even with 10 men. stroey

Cholo has issues with losing his temper when things get rough.

It's only in recent years that the latter has mellowed.

Even the way he raises the voices of the crowd, Mourinho version 2.I never felt AVB was a Mourinho type even when many of our fans said it then, but with Simeone, I feel he's the real deal. Sheva. 5,373
Real Madrid were up 2-0 early against Sociedad, but managed to crumble and ship 4 goals.
The Skipper 20,609
Madrid look great on paper but this was to be expected when you're playing with no defensive nous in midfield. No protection for the back 4. Sheva.
