May be i haven't seen much of Atletico madrid this season, but for all the matches that i have seen them play, they are pretty toothless in the final 15 minutes or so. Like they run out of steam or something.

In their two recent defeats they were terrible (Almeria-Ossasuna).

Against Barca also very boring 0-0.

They beat AC Milan 1-0 away but Milan are a shadow of a team.

I 'm not greatly impressed - ran out of steam maybe.

Ugliest league on Earth. Politics involved big time, players acting like the World War III is on, media adding fuel to the fire day by day, blind refs (or following orders I must say), clubs having huge debts, but still able to do €70M+ transfers and so on. That high pressure must wear them out. Hard to chase the ball all over the pitch for 90 mins no matter how fit you are. Bound to get worn out eventually. I think that should be the way to beat them (if we face them later in UCL)
