Evil person!

On the serious : he knows GREAT tricks!

True, I don't deny that, but I was never a fan of players who try to be too fancy. Often when people send me youtube links to some Neymar tricks, true they are usually very difficult tricks that must have took A LOT of training, but all I see is a pass that he should have played to make the attack more dangerous or an early cross that could have resulted in a good chance...etc

Only one genius has ever managed to integrate his 'street-football' skills into professional football and that was Ronaldinho. I very much doubt someone will ever be able to repeat that feat anytime soon.

We have Hazard .....

Hazard is nothing like Neymar. Eden is a much more effective player. Yes he likes his rabonas, but he never does tricks just for tricks sake. He does uses some excellent dribbling skills to directly influence the game. In fact at the start of the season, a lot of people were complaining that he should take defends on more often. Hazard has also showed this season that he can be extremely disciplined tactically. One of the main things I like about Hazard is that, unlike Ronaldo, for example, he can fit into the team system and play for the team, he does not need a system to be built around him. Neymar is none of those things atm.

CHOULO19, you should stop embarassing yourself by not talking about what you dont know! ;)

Each time you try to give a argument against Neymar you use stupid media bullshit, which shows you have never ever watched a single club game of Neymar.

He doesnt only do tricks for the sake of it and he doesnt need to train to do them, lol. He also doesnt have a worse working rate than Mata or Hazard have, for instance. And he also carried his average team to titles throughout 3 seasons.

The fact you think Neymar isnt effective is absurd!

I don't claim to know more about Neymar than you but I have seen him enough to form my own opinion about him. Media bullshit? I've honestly never even read an article about Neymar that wasn't about transfer rumors. My opinion is my own from the handful of times I've watched him in the Brazilian league and his performances with the NT. He is free to prove me wrong, though.

I know why you said that. Talented players can be frustratring when they do too much show-off but Neymar has a lot of potential.

I just think that at Santos and clubs like that that have a gem in their hands, they tend to be too lenient over the players because of the cash they can have.

At Barcelona, it will not be the case. He will leave the playground field behind and should have his first serious year of real football, a bit like Hazard at Chelsea.

He will still have the flash of brillance but will be more consistant during a game. Vilanova is not Guardiola but I trust the spanish way of coaching to be great for Neymar.

Look at Hazard under Benitez, with just some little tweaks, I thought that he performed much better and improved many things that I was frustrated with when watching him play for Lille.

Spent the whole Uruguay game cheating -will fit in well at the Nou Camp

Hes been doing it all tournament. Against Italy to win that freekick he scored, he basically dived. Was a slight bit of contact and he jumped up and fell over as if he'd been mauled.

Diving aside, after watching him in the Conf Cup against stronger defenses, I'm starting to feel like he really has the ability to become a big player (as opposed to someone who was a really big fish in a really small, proverbially, pond).
