Jase 43,479
Definitely think we're a better team with Ramires in the side. His desire and effort is absolutely infectious. Seeing a player give his all is the fastest way into the hearts of supporters. He also seems to be one of our new "big game" players. If you look at the goals he's scored for us, a very good percentage of them have been against very, very good teams:in 2010/11 he scored only two goals, but one was a game-winner against City that sealed second place for us (50% of his goals were therefore in "big games").Last season he scored 12 goals - including goals in semi-finals against Spurs and Barcelona, one in the FA Cup final, one against Valencia in a crucial UCL group stage game, before scoring at Anfield later in the season - meaning 5 (or 42%) of his 12 goals can be counted as "big game" goal. This season he has scored 7 goals - but three of those have been against Manchester United, including the equaliser in the 2-2 FA Cup draw, the equaliser on the day in the 2-3 loss, and the winner in the 5-4 League Cup win. You don't get much bigger games than those! That means 3/7 - 43% - of his goals this season have been of massive significance.I know it is a crude and subjective measure, but it does show he truly brings the goods to the table in the big games - by my reckoning, 9 of his 21 goals have been in massive games for us. That is 43%. Not bad, eh? You then think of all the assists he had provided in those games - ones that immediately spring to mind include the winner in the first leg against Barcelona and his cross for Drogba's opener against Napoli in the 4-1 win. Big game player indeed.Another goal in another big game for Ramires.. BlueLion.
CHOULO19 24,332
When he doesn't have the time to think of the finish that is...True. His best finishes, it seems, are the ones he does at full speed after running the length of the pitch!
The Skipper 20,609
Ran his arse off. Should've been subbed after around the 70 minute mark because he ran out of steam for once but obviously our nonce of an interim decided otherwise.
Ryan Fong 2,776
Ramires what a unique player. Absolutely one of a kind. Brazilian but technically poor; Misses simple chances but scores wonder goals; Skinny but extremely combative and runs like a fucking machine!! Clevemayer 764
sadly faded out after his falling but he has been tremendeous in the last 5 games or so, I've slated him often, he still lacks some composure on the ball but he can be vital at any moment.Should been subbed off after his head/ground collision
Kojo 4,676
Ramires does lack composure in certain parts definitely, remember that on the corner kick when it came back out to him and instead of just fucking passing it he just stood there and panicked and then Bale took it off him and Spurs where on the counter.Just things like that where he should do a lot better, that slip though... Oh jesus, I don't even like thinking about it, brings back bad memories.
Magic Lamps 11,692
As if he wanted to fall on purpose...i know it was not on purpose, it was kinda joke and mata was more at fault than him. Still s.o. with better body control would not have slipped there...

manpe 10,861
I always liked the idea of him as a right back. Let a more technical player occupy his role in midfield and let him be a beast at right back. He's played right back and he wasn't anywhere near good enough there. There was a wide consensus that instead of a makeshift right back, we need a permanent and natural player there (we got Azpi). There was also wide agreement that his skillset was wasted over there, because he is a natural box to box midfielder and he couldn't utilize his strengths in that restricted position. Rought around the edges, but still a midfielder.

Popular Post! Mufassir08 2,400 Posted May 9, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted May 9, 2013 As a teenager, he helped his uncles work as bricklayers, even though he didn’t enjoy the hard labour. “I remember working with the hot sun in my face, carrying stones, sand and bricks,” he once said. But the family needed money and Ramires was providing. He would work for eight hours every day before his football training in the evenings. “I worked from 8am until 4pm. Training was at 430pm. I cycled home from work, got changed then took the bike out and would train and then go home.”That's inspirational stuff! kellzfresh, Reddish-Blue, The Skipper and 5 others

Still s.o. with better body control would not have slipped there...Several players(opposition also) have fallen like that before at Stamford Bridge.I think it would be wiser to blame the pitch than the player as this has happened many times.
