i want us to sign Ramires as he`s a quality young player who would fit in well with us...but if this latest news is true..it makes me feel like we should tell Benfica to go fook themselves...we need a midfield addition now and they seem to be trying to play us like fools...not only over this but Luiz too..

not sure where we go from here tho..perhaps try and hijack the Khedira to Real deal..or/and go for Ozil..can`t believe Tottenham are currently favorites to sign him.

quality player but...

1)He plays for Lyon..who as we know with the Essien saga..don`t hand over their players without kicking and screaming all the way..

2)he`s left footed..and unfortunately we must be the only team in the world who have so many left footers but not many right footers.

3) he`ll soon turn 28...but that`s not as key as point 1 & 2.

No i don't, benfica are just trying to squeeze as much money as possible out of us, he will be a chelsea player within the next week i am sure about it !

we won't go for Khedira! He clearly wants to go to Real Madrid, so there's not much we can do to convince him to think otherwise

I do wish I had as much belief in that statement as you! Although so far, only just the one report in the last 4 hours has been leaked so far, it's not as if the report is worldwide at the moment.

Benfica midfielder Ramires has pleaded with the club to resolve his transfer to Chelsea and release him for his "dream move" to Stamford Bridge.

ESPN just reported this. i hope this means we are going to sign him but you dont always know with espn soccernet. hope since it's a quote and he said it, its true

We've heard something like this before. Until I see news on the official Chelsea site saying "Ramires is a new Chelsea player" I won't get overexcited.

Btw. I'd rather see him in number 13 shirt ;)

I would Love to see Ramires in the Blue of Chelsea I'v been following him play for over a year now and he is a true warrior and will never give up. He's very similar to Essien but with alot of pace he known as the "blue Kenyan" so in a Chelsea jersey he should fit right in LOL.
