KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
Let's be honest. RDM isn't getting the job. He would have gotten the job by now. I think it's best he leaves. He's expanded upon his legacy and did amazing things here. It's best if that does not get tarnished and he walks away with pride and honour. Even if he did get the job he would only have it for a year anyway.
BleedsBlue 1,549
No job secruity for anyone who comes in reallly....But after everything he's done for us agree maybe it is best because as soon as things go wrong the usual 'get him out's shite will start and the media will start their usual slagging match and he doesnt deserve that! Deserves to be somewhere where he wont be looking over his shoulder after a bad run and is treated with respectOh well its Chelsea's loss.Had RDM won the Champions League with another club,he would be our top target. Kostas 1,468
di Matteo deserves it. he has shown a very attacking philosophy - mk dons and west brom I wonder just how many full games of MK Dons under RdM have all the members of TalkChelsea put together seen? ulsterchelsea 3,221
Love the way we are conducting our transfer business early here....can but hope Robbies contract is being conducted in the same manner, if not, to quote our former striker, its a fucking disgrace
LDN Blue 7,903
they were calling us a joke before we played against Napoli ,,,and a joke waiting to happen before Barca and Bayern ,,,so who is laughing nowCHAMPIONS OF EUROPEBe that as it may, the treatment of Di Matteo is shocking. BleedsBlue 1,549
Its just sad to know that even after winning the FA Cup and the biggest club competition,Chelsea decide to part ways with him.I am not sure that a Top 4 finish would have even convinced Roman. The owner is one stupid humble rich fella. cujo101 75
RdM will not get the job. Disgraceful. Happy to give Hazard's agent £6m but can't give the boys a 2 year contract. Fuck you very much Roberto & Eddie, there's the door...

Caeruleus 1,148
Will CFC fans from London give a support to RDM and Eddie? Will they? Or will they agree with Abramovich's stupid decisions?
Kostas 1,468
Be that as it may, the treatment of Di Matteo is shocking.Only if you define anything except giving him the job as shocking treatment. I reckon RdM is well informed of what's going to happen and that is exactly what makes the journos mad.
Laylabelle 9,535
Be that as it may, the treatment of Di Matteo is shocking.Agree.One moment it seemed a case of 'win the CL...get the job....then seemed set to get it when Pep said was taking a year out.Now he aint..who knows whats going on' But if he doesnt get it best of luck wherever he goes.Defintly a lot of oppounties out there for him now... robdog 2,084
Just watched an interview w/ Eddie Newton about the situation on SSN. Freakin' ridiculous. The club has always had bad public relation gaffs, but this takes the cake

Fhaarkas 39
Gah!I was trying to figure out Roman's logic for this stalling and this is all I can come up with.Roman wants to give Bobby the jobHe wants to have Pep in line just in case Bobby screws upBobby won't take kindly to another 'test' season with a 12-month contractRoman can give Bobby the contract he deserves, but he runs the risk of Pep running awayIf Pep runs away and Bobby turns out flop Chelsea is royally screwedIn this particular case, I say fuck logic. Just give him the job and ride the wave. Plus when Mourinho wins the CL with Madrid in all probability he'll be available.
