There is that many rumors about hiding his tattoo's and its what Roman gladiators did when they were still about. Its crazy.

He is a class player though, everyone who questioned him before the start of this tournament despite him having a bad season with Roma need to have a second look. If Jose can get him fired up like Prandelli he would be superb here.

Words can't even begin to describe how much I want this guy to be a Chelsea player next season. I've been on the bandwagon from the start and his performances at the Confederations Cup sure haven't changed my mind. Maybe he had an average season at Roma and some people there think he's past it but whenever he plays for Italy he's the best player in the world for that role, no doubt about it. If his bad form for AS Roma mean he's now available for cheap, we should do everything in our power to sign him. If there's someone who can get the 'national team De Rossi' out of the lad for club football again as well it's Jose Mourinho. For just €10-15m DDR could easily be the signing of the season.

Tattoo on his left arm is very meaningful to de Rossi and his daughter Gaia. It's very private thing for him. So he covers his left arm with long sleeve to show sign of personal privacy and respect to the game, because many European players like to show-off their tattoos.
