One of the worst defenders in the squad, especially 1 on 1.

Our form picked up this season when he was out of the starting 11 and out of the squad.

Only reason he's here is because of the Man City connection.

The managers decision making in game is bizarre to say the least. Why is he taking Acheampong off?? Because he is young? Huh! Why ? He better be injured.

These results will always happen with a young squad and idiotic manager who clearly doesn’t know how to coach a low block set up. We stay spread out across the whole vertical length of the field open to transitional attacks with every action in the 90th minute. Go compare us to Arsenal. This is a disgrace at this level.

Maresca would be absolutely foolish to reintroduce Tosin and Chalobah as a CB pairing ever again.

Absolute story of our season against every small team we’ve played. Carbon copy tactic from every one because they all know it works. And it’s the most basic tactic any manager can implement with minimal effort. 

Park the double decker, slow our attack to a crawl, and make the match an almost unwatchable shitfest. Then on the rare occasions they get the ball it’s random heaves up the pitch or long throws. 

And yet the manager of Chelsea Football Club who has witnessed this SAME EXACT TACTIC about 5 times this season in the PL has found absolutely ZERO way to counter it or get through to the players on how to deal with it. 

The blueprint is set. Sit deep and run around a lot and you beat Chelsea. Simple as that. We have no ideas, no spark, and no intensity against this setup.

I think this is the type of game where we need to win 1-0.

The problem is that we don't have a good defense for that and the board have not done much in this department. 

If we want to improve like arsenal then we need to focus on defense. If not we will continue having these type of games.
