True, but I’d manage him the other way around. Start him, play him for an hour or something, then sub him to protect his hamstrings.

Why? The plan will be to bring him on when we are up and the intensity as has dropped.

Reece is ideal from the bench, we have to understand he will never be fully fit and play 30 games, the team dynamic has changed we have  alot of young and fresh legs now, he needs blending in.

Might as well just sell him if he's only going to stick around as a sub.

I get dropping him for every other game. Or at worse, dropping him if the opposition is low tier.

Anyway, there could have been another reason for Maresca to drop James. Might find out after the game.
