Chelsea 2-2 Ipswich

Four points dropped in a week with the run in getting harder. It's still in our own hands, but I just can't see us getting a CL place without others shooting themselves in the foot from now till the end of the season.

Failure to beat Ipswich this season is embarrassing in itself.

I knew we weren't scoring when I saw Sancho and Palmer celebrating the equalizer, Terry and Lampard would've rushed to get the ball and restart the match, these players don't give a fuck.

They're kids.

It's the directors who setup this squad bringing in weak fodder like Sanchez and Disasi, destroying any championship mentality we had.

The Chelsea back line they've set up reliably concedes goals and chances every game.

Is it still in our own hands? Newcastle have 2 games on us.

You are right, but make no mistake my friend, this team can perform and be more organized a heck of a lot more, Maresca is horse shit.

No doubt a failure at different levels. Curious to see where this team finishes come end of the season.

Probably 6th and with a few points more than Pochettino last season.

Would still be seen as progress in their eyes.

Following in Fulham Broadway's footsteps:

Oh great, here comes Nkunku, who will do...

Apparently this trick only works in your skilled hands @Fulham Broadway

2-2 what a disappointment. Since the day Cole arrived we've been basically carried by him, when he is injured we look like a relegation team and when he is out of goal scoring form we look like a midtable team.

People blame Maresca and for sure he has made mistakes but for me it is much bigger than our head coach

The owners are the number 1 problem

The sporting directors after that (picked by the owners who don't know what they're doing, only still here because they lucked out with Joe Shields buying Cole - notice we took a guy from a winning club and he bought another player from a winning club, and not just guys from Brighton)

A few terrible players after that who should never have been here and where we don't even have options in the squad available to bench them

Maresca after that

And then the rest of the squad after that.

Bright points are basically limited to a handful of players who do really try, clearly care, and deserve better than this. And the vague prospect of some of our loans coming back and strengthening us next year.

Great result against a much better side

Not enough is spoken about how poor and middle of the road Cole Palmer is and has been, totally laughable but his early season form gives him a free pass....he's been fucking shite

Winstanley and Stewart have been a getting a free ride. Nothing valuable in terms of contributions from them.

100 %

Just a fucking business to them , to keep ticking over a personal profit. No real desire to be successful and win stuff.

Ipswich have got 1/5th of their total points and 1/8th of their total goals against us this season.... 🤔🤔🤔😮‍💨😮‍💨🙂↕️

After how it started I'll take that. Champions league if we get there will need a lot of work so we don't just crash out. We don't have game changing player anymore or like Liverpool with salah players who don't extend a contract be a big deal. Lacking direction and talent...

Somehow ipswich didn't score..

Another £200m summer incoming where we spend 70m on Bynoe Gittens so big Joe agent friends can pay off their mortgage, 40m on an average Portugese CB because Jorge Mendes said so, and 90m on Joao Pedro so Winstanley can still keep doing his Brighton inside job 🔥🔥🔥

Leicester fan Alex’s on playback in 2024, he’s said:

• Maresca has no plan B
• No flexibility, plan A or nothing
• Stubborn
• It’s slow/boring possession at times
• He started to get found out and dipped in form
• He will use the midfield very well....

Any questions?🤔🫡
