Spike 12,049
The only player that can consistently score from Free Kicks is Wesley Sneijder. He is the best FK taker I've ever seen.

capriccioso 2,545
Shunsuke Nakamura lol's at the recent progress of this thread.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZoJqDWPUmM
Sheva. 5,373
Juninho? Best free-kick taker i've ever seen, he was fucking brilliant at it, from every position possible
Madmax 9,219
Indeed, Juninho is where it's at. Roberto Carlos is the most outrageously overhyped person as far as freekicks are concerned. Yes, the one against France and a couple of others were incredible hits but he was hardly prolific.
Spike 12,049
Juninho? Sure I've watched Juninho's FKs on Youtube but I don't think I've seen him play live. Wesley takes the cake for me.
magic weeds 446
Juninho and Ronaldinho for me.
LondonPride1905 236
Spike, Marko Marin has scored a goal from that angle into the other corner. Kevin De Bruyne has also scored from those angles even in live play. I don't think that makes them great. Let's hope they do become with us. OneMoSalah 8,886
Nakamura has scored a lot of free kicks for Celtic and his other clubs. His one vs Man United in that 1-0 victory was unreal!! quality is quite shit but still.. some great free kicks in there
cujo101 75
Adam Johnson gone to Sunderland!
Ollie 4,400
I woulda taken him but he's gone to the team he and all his family support. I hope he does really well there because it's nice seeing players joining the team they loved when they were young. Sunderland with Fletcher and Johnson and now a level up from what they were just yesterday. I wish THAT Sunderland team had gone to the Emirates at the weekend altho tbh woulda still been happy with a draw. They look a dangerous team now tho, look forward to seeing them. The Skipper 20,609
Sunderland building a decent squad. Good front three of Fletcher, Sessegnon and Johnson. Could be a surprise threat this year, will probably finish top 10.
Tricky 301
I'm glad he has moved, could be a very good player but he just never got the game time. I know England could certainly do with someone like him.
Blue-in-me-Veins 4,067
@Tricky, yep agree, he is a talent who has been wasted coming off the bench to add on to routs.

Duppy Conqueror 1,536
he didn`t seem to be on our radar which i was fine with..not that impressed with the Sunderland team i`ve seen better teams than them on paper go down and as they haven`t played together yet that`s all we can go on.*wonders if he`s the only Chelsea fan on here who hates Sunderland (and North East/West in general) *
Spike 12,049
*wonders if he`s the only Chelsea fan on here who hates Sunderland (and North East/West in general) *Maybe, but some of the member from the midlands or north may share your sentiments (e.g. Alex, Kojo). There just isn't enough exposure for most of these teams to hate justifiably (well for me anyway).
Duppy Conqueror 1,536
ah,i`m happy to hate alone.. you may never get to hate the likes of Sunderland and Newcastle. some of it is long seated and doesn`t only apply to football..i`ve enjoyed watching Newcastle play quite a lot of times over the last 30odd years, not so much Sunderland..it`s more the fans tho, they still publicise themselves as massive clubs, when they aren`t really atall..it`s atleast 60 years since either of them had a truly golden era. in the last 25 years Luton Town have won more domestic trophies than the whole of the North East. nobody calls Luton Town massive and if it`s just because they have big followings then there`s about 30 "massive" clubs in England.i did go abit too sweeping when i said i hate NorthWest/NorthEast in general..it`s generally "just" Liverpool,Leeds,Newcastle,Sunderland,Manchester...i don`t class midlands as "oop north" even tho there are plenty of Londoners and/or Cockneys who believe anywhere north of Watford is up north. and places like Carlisle and Doncaster have some classy fans.
