J.F. 1,484
Bring manager who is going to play attacking football for fuck sake. Guardiola/Emery/Hiddink/Sampaoli, I DON'T GIVE A FUCK, just bring entertainment football to Stamford Bridge, we deserve that. positivefootball
kmk108 1,186
I don't like how everybody is shitting themselves because City could be (or are) getting Guardiola. Don't get me wrong, he's a brilliant coach and it's a shame we couldn't get him, but it isn't like there aren't other top level managers out there who can help lead us to success. City are not Barcelona of old, neither do they have the same level of player as Bayern Munich. City are far from unbeatable, with or without Guardiola and from what we've learned in the past, Guardiola can be beaten by managers below his "level" I would prefer to wait until next season to start casting doubt on any other English teams success, especially ours, just because big bad Pep Guardiola is going to be taking charge of City. Everyone thought Klopp would turn Liverpool into world beaters and it hasn't happened. Managing in the Premier League is totally different and not something either manager will have dealt with before. People here and elsewhere across the net are being way too presumptuous regarding Guardiola's success at City before he's even stepped foot in Manchester. Don't take Klopp for granted yet. His "style" doesn't match the Liverpool players. He'll need time to either get them to play his style or get players that suit him. I wouldn't worry about Liverpool being title contenders this season, but next season could be a different story.

You think our board would give him enough time to adapt to the league and country?I don't believe Sampaoli is the right man for next season. I still believe next season, unless the man is Guardiola, Hiddink should stay longer to make the transition. Next season is the moment to rebuild a squad that was left unbalanced and lacking depth. The squad must recover from the lost of the likes of KDB, Lukaku, Luiz, Mata, Felipe Luis and Xurli. But the team must competitive in the process and recover UCL football. illmatic 901
Sampaoli probably is not ready to take a club like Chelsea, but is good to hear him as an option because is an amazing coach, I think that in a couple years He could be coaching in Europa elite.BTW, I'm concerned cause every day take more force the rumour of Pellegrini. I can't believe we really are thinking in that piece of mediocre while our direct rivals are thinking in sign the best coaches in the world. MrExcalibur100 7,124
Simeone has one of the best young teams in Europe in Atletico Madrid and he's in a position were he's not under a tremendous amount of pressure to fight for the league title. Atletico Madrid are by far the 3rd best team in La Liga and should come 3rd again with ease. At Chelsea, he knows he will be under tremendous amount of pressure to succeed, regardless of what our board promise him. It will be CL-less football next season with a fairly unbalanced squad in a very competitive league. So, apart from the money, I don't really see what makes us so attractive to a guy like SImeone. He's better off staying with that young Atletico Madrid squad and building them to something truly something special than coming here. Hire the guy that the coach we just sacked exposed as an utter fraud. As an aside, not known so many tickets to be available through people I know. Had THREE texts yesterday wanting to know if I wanted one for the match today. What a joke we've become and whether you wanted Jose out or not, the problems at this club go way beyond whatever coach we hire.
