That wasn't the question lol, GP isn't involved in the question, I'll ask again, do you think bringing in the top target this season after GP was sacked would have been worth potentially fucking it up for worthless games?

Misunderstood lol 😂

Honestly, don't know. Until recently I believed the top manager could hit the ground running and along proper tacfic and boost of enthusiasm we could actually rebound and create a good foundation for next season. But now, looking how badly pretty much everyone had given up and what a mess the club is I started to doubt it honestly…

No doubt Nagelsmann is the board #1 choice, given his connection to former RBL guys we have hired. They prefer a yes man.

That is pretty much the reason they likely held off on Enrique, for.

They want to wait until Naggelsman comes in and he's very likely taking a break until the summer. Hence the wait.

Fucking hell. If Naggelsman is the next appointment and he also ends up being a dud, that'll be it for this club.

I think by time potter had gone any new main target coach wouldn't make a blind bit of difference, Enrique style of play will take time and the right head space to learn, that would never happen this season, I know nothing of the ex Bayern coach so I can't comment o. Him, but I firmly believe if we employed Enrique 3 games ago, by the end of this season people would want him out, I truly believe potter would of done a far better job if given the same situation, he was hired at the wrong time aswell, so I'm glad to see the same mistake not made twice.

He wasn't hired at the wrong time, it was his choice to jump ship and leave Brighton.  The funny part is, Brighton actually got a much better manager (where even players have said that Potter was more invested in relationships and managing players where as De Zerbi is more focused on ensuring the tactical approach is correct based on the opposition).

The problem with Potter (from the beginning) was that he's never had to deal with so much pressure or money in his previous jobs and you could tell the players lost interest in his approach quite quickly.  We had a few decent results with key players showing their individual class at times but even with the very few wins that we had under Potter, it was clear as day that there was no "team effort" left at Chelsea.   The last half decent showing from this team was that 0-0 against Liverpool and that was with Bruno in charge and rather than build on that, the club decided to turn to Lampard for a farewell tour and honestly, it is just ruining his reputation and his small chances of managing in the PL again will take a massive hit as it'll very likely read as: "Let go by Everton in relegation zone", "Left Chelsea in the bottom 6 of the league".

I wonder when we’ll feel excited again to watch Chelsea play football.

Probably not next season but the season after (if we're able to sell off all these rubbish players who couldn't care less about the club).

Give chances to the players who came through the academy or the players who actually want to prove a point at Chelsea.

The players who should be given a shot with the new manager next season are: Kepa, Reece, Fofana, Badi, T.Silva, Colwill, Chilwell, Kante, Enzo, Mudryk, Havertz (if Bayern aren't interested), Madueke.

Every other player should be allowed to go.

Tbh next season I would be very pleased with P4 or P5

Not sure if that's realistic with the likes of Nagelsmann (apparently lost the dressing room at Bayern, not sure if he'll survive at Chelsea if results don't go his way) & Enrique (takes time to understand & implement his tactics).

Hate to say it but to get back to top 4 quickly, we need a manager like Conte/Mourinho.
