Marta1988 0
I think Chelsea need someone who has already won, not a bet. At this point keep the trainer you already have.

Wtf Clownlake are mad as ass Sigh Was thinking the same… honestly had to google if they they meant Kieran or Kevin McKenna lol Poch is not perfect but replacing him with someone who has 0 top flight experience would be an even dafter move than downgrading from Tuchel to Potter. (However, my nightmare would actually be Todd bringing in Jürgen Klinsmann. Would be completely random but Americans just love him ^^) I don’t really like Poch tbh, too spursy for me. But the players do, apparently. We are not winning anything big next year anyway so hiring someone for short term success at the cost of player development would probably backfire. 21 hours ago, DH1988 said: Which serial winners are available? Not with a historic record, a recent one. A few, actually. Flick, Tuchel, kovac and Allegri have all somewhat recently shown they can do it. Would draw the line at Conte. Not even starting with Löw, Santos, Favre or even Jose. It is probably less about serial winners but also about personal fit. This would make flick more likely cos he is soft spoken and empathetic like Poch, good with young players not as intense as the other

Gundalf 806
I always say it: be careful what u wish for. Poch is still the best option considering who the club wants as a possible successor. Fernando

Fernando 6,585
So they had one already line up it seems. Then it boils down to amorin or de zerbi.

Todd was the mastermind behind experienced signings like Sterling, Koulibaly. Pochettino was appointed by his recommendation. Eghbali, Wyss & the new sporting directors are behind the youth drive, and the push for younger, more 'energetic' managers who buy into their whole policy of stockpiling youth talent in long-term contracts and raising the clubs value for the future ( when they will ultimately sell)
Strike 7,504
Athletic sources: Kieran Mckenna, Enzo Maresca, Thomas Frank, Sebastian Hoeness, in the shortlist. De Zerbi, Kompany are unlikely candidates. No chance of Tuchel, Conte or Mourinho. Edited May 22, 2024 by Strike
Hot Dawg 17
De Zerbi is greasier than an oil slick. Complains in February Brighton aren't big enough for me basically whoring himself out, Brighton go on a terrible run he backtracks says I love Brighton and the people. Poch body language last couple of weeks is bad he won't commit himself to Chelsea bound to be rumours in football and managerial circles that he's going to leave. Last week De Zerbi announces he's leaving Brighton also factor in the Bayern Munich role and the odds on that Ten Haag is getting sacked. I'd rather have Paula Vennells as manager than that snake. Gundalf 806
It will be McKenna and I want all Poch out people to fully embrace it with all your heart. Because it was clear that this kind of manager would be the replacement for Poch. robsblubot

Potter failed miserably with a champions league winning squad full of egos bigger than him. He was never going to elevate that team. Now that the squad has been stripped and replaced with young talent, most of which are yet to achieve anything, who knows? The incoming manager's reputation might be of little consequence. The question is whether someone like Kenna can actually deliver in an elite league against top coaches and teams. If Eghbali is using data from the Championship to base this claim., he is a more substantial fool than I thought.
