The Next Manager?

Recommended Posts

In the Premier League, Swansea have the 6th highest possession percentage, the 5th highest passing percentage, have the second most goals from open play, and play the fifth most short passes. It's been a little more cautious this season, but they still play high possession, passing football.

What are our stats, if you don't mind me asking?

I have watched them play against Utd, Man City, Eveton x2, Spurs and us x2 and in each of those games they were thoroughly outplayed. Wigan for instance play better football and Martinez is a better manager than Laudrup. The post I replied to wanted us to play like Swansea then I don't want to play like them, they are nothing special.

Cheers. :)

The positional statistics are very interesting. 44% of Everton's attacks come from the left side, no surprise there! We're actually fairly balanced in our attacks despite many people thinking we mostly attack through the centre.

Klopp is not a realistic option.

Mourinho is not a realistic option.

Joachin Low is not a realistic option.

We have Moyes, Laudrup, Simeone and Benitez. For me Moyes is the best option and Simeone is the worst.

I'm not so sure Mourinho us unrealistic and out of those available, I'm not sure how Moyes is the best option. Good manager, but not really the person I'd see fitting in at our club especially when you look at his footballing philosophy.

Tell me about Moyes footballing philosophy.

Mourinho back to Chelsea is only a rumour. He never said he want to return to Chelsea, and Roman never said he want to hire him again.

No way Jose will come back here in my opinion he'll be looking at the Manchester clubs and no one else. So like Henrique's said Moyes is the best option we've got available. Constantly overachieves and has the personality to take control and the respect to get everyone on side. Only problem is i think he's got the United job in his heart.

Why don't you tell me why you'd like Moyes here?

Like I said, great manager but I simply don't think he'd be the right guy.

We can get any manager we want, we are Chelsea and we have Roman. Every good option does sound unrealistic, but anything could happen, money and personal glory does speak loud (even for the loyal). I dont know, it sounds mandness, but I just want to keep believing!

CAREFREE WHEREVER WE MAY BE!

I think one of the best things about a new manager would be the instant uplift of the fans and our attitude... Which should reflect very positively atm. Right now we have a club that is split and a new manager that everyone supports would be a big first step. Now the obvious problem is who.... And that is where the major problem, lies with availability and most of the managers who we would even consider and next to impossible to procure mid season. May have to hold on with rafa and hope we can get top 4 then in June start a fresh.

Moyes, a manager who plays this Pro-English game with Everton (playes Fellaini as a CAM... my god) is the best option and Simeone who makes Atletico play with such great pressure at opponents, and he's a proven tactican who also won EL+Super cup, and got them to 2nd place in La Liga so far, is the worst? thats science fiction for me. Have you realy seen Atletico in the last year?

And its coming from a Brazilian which is even weirder... i would love to know what you like in Moyes and dont like in Simeone.

Edit: oh right Simeone is Argentine
