Not to dampen the spirits ( although you should all know better by now) this is the actual article from whoever this guy is. I've translated the first segment and only a few lines in it's blown all credibility. To save you time reading this I've highlighted it for you

Maurizio Sarri to SLEEP at Chelsea training ground when he takes over from Antonio Conte this week

https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/maurizio-sarri-sleep-chelsea-training-12784171

Where does the media get this crap from [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

That’s exactly Sarri style

He was used in Napoli too to spend nights and days in the training center preparing next matches

His family dis not move to Napoli, he wanted to focus totally on his job

I’m so sad for him I don’t know how I will follow Napoli next year

Love that sort of commitment.  Its what we need more of at the club.

Thought it was going to be another Number 6 job. He was never going to be released so he escaped! One of the vest shows ever been on telly

£60m could well be the starting point with regards to net spend. It would fall in line with the club's stance over the last couple of seasons.

The club though has a number of players that could be sold for decent money that will soon inflate that budget up. Nothing to start getting worried about.

Yep. If we have £60m net spend, then we could do something like this:

Sell Willian £50m, Drinkwater £20m, Luiz £20m, Zappacosta £15m, Pedro £15m, loan army (MVG, Kenedy, Pasalic etc.) > £35m. Total of £155m. That would give us  > £200m to play with which isn’t too bad.

Especially when you consider that all of the players you mentioned are expendable.

I would actually keep Pedro personally. I think his style could suit Sarri, and similar to Fabregas with only a year left on his contract any sale value will be pretty low and to replace them would likely cost significantly more, thus eating into our budget. We'd be better off keeping them both for the last year of their contract and keeping the experience within the squad.

you can add also: cahill £10m, bakayoko £30m, moses £20m maybe morata (if we take a substitute) £60m, plus: kalas,hector,kane,boga,piazon.. = £10-15m
total £155m + £135m + £60m = £350m!
I will take a stiker (icardi £100m)  a midfilder ( £60-70m) e offensive player (£70-90m) + rugani £30m total= £260- £300m
moreover so we rejuvenate the rose, giving space to some young people; lighten the rose and therefore the weight of salaries! in addition to strengthening the team

I agree on most

I would sell

Courtois £40-50m (as he will leave on a free next summer if we dont sell now) to Real (AFTER we sign Alisson or Donnarumma or Strakosha, the first 2 being a net £10m to £30m spend, Strakosha being a net gain of around 10m)

David Luiz (£20m)

Tomás Kalas £5m

Cahill (lucky if we can get 20m, probably get 15m max, maybe less, should have sold him last year, huge mistake)

Alonso to Barca (£40m) and buy José Gayà (around £40m so a wash) or Alex Telles (30 to 35m  so net gain of 5 to 10m)

Kenedy £20m

Davide Zappacosta (trade him plus £10 to £15m to Inter for Vecino)

Danny Drinkwater  (£25m) he is English, so can get that extra 5m  (still want to know why the feck we wasted cash on him!)

Cesc Fàbregas (£15 to 20m)  time to sell!

Pedro £15 to 20m

Lucas Piazón £5m

Bakayoko £35m (Monaco wants him back)

Pašalić £10m

Willian £50m

Morata £55m

that would yield (counting the buys/swaps plus cash listed above, PLUS adding in the £60m from Abro)  around £290m to spend ( and remember I have already added a goalkeeper (I picked most costly option, Alisson, to be fair) a new LB (again I picked most costly option, Gaya) and a new creative CMF (Vecino)

I also did not sell MVG, I think he REALLY deserves a shot at main club

so now the pure needs.based buys (after those above)

BUY

RB Elseid Hysaj  or Sime Vrsaljko  who would be 40m and around 30m respectively

CB Kostas Manolas (£35m or so activates his release clause) or Rugani (same price roughly)

CHMF Jean Michaël Seri (£40m)

RW Leon Bailey (£65m)

CF Mauro icardi (£110m)

£280-290m <<<<<<<<<<<<< Total cost for those five

so yes

we can DO THIS for a £60m NET spend
