Really can't see why he would, though.

We can buy anyone City could buy, have a bunch of young players with world class potential, are only a few pieces away from being a true powerhouse, and London is a hell of a lot more exciting than Manchester.

He'd return a hero and do wonders for the likes of Hazard. Not to mention every player in the world would want to play for him and we'd easily recruit new players.

It's a no-brainier. If all it comes down to is Roman giving him control over all footballing matters than he needs to do so for the future of the club. Can't afford another season of lagging double digit points behind United.

Can almost say the same thing about City...can buy anyone we can, has some fairly good talent...remember he prefers talent NOW as well.

I think the London thing works in our favour however

Still can't see Jose returning here, tbh, because that would have to mean:

1) RA admitting he was wrong to fire him in 2007. And in my experience, rich, powerful men, don't like doing that.

2) He will be given time, money and control. Highly unlikely, imo.

Well looking at things realistically. I can't see him at real at the end of the season meaning he will probably be back in england next season.

Now as for the who: It will be one of:

Chelsea - Has history with us, loves the club, fans, the issue could be the roman factor

Man city - With the exception of him having history with us, they have the same sort of model as us and can buy like we can etc.

Arsenal - Doesn't have the money to improve the squad he would like and can't see him wanting to fight for top 4 and domestic comps wheras with everyone else he can challenge for the league

Tottenham - Can't see them getting rid of AVB especially if he gets them top 4.

Utd - Somewhere that is successful and has a great team however i can't see them sacking fergie and i don't think he is gonna quit yet.

So that means its us or city. Now we want him more, but does roman want him. I am sure he would love to come back to the bridge but again, does roman want it? City may be the easier option for him, however we may be the preffered option. Also as some people have said, london is better than manchester and probably more preferable for him to love there. Especially as he has a home here etc. A lot of this is more hope than judgement but i will be optimistic and i reckon we will get top 4, rafa will be sacked, mourinho will be hired. Lampy will get a new deal. We will win the champs league, and he will retire with the winning goal. :D

He doesn't have to admit he was wrong. He doesn't have to do anything. Its not like we haven't been successful since he left. And he won't know how much time he gets until it is up. Money he will definitely be given and considering the lack of alternative options, control is something that he should be given.

Not publicly of course, but hiring Jose is, or rather looks like, admitting he was wrong to sack him. But I don't that will be the biggest issue. The issue is that Jose knows that he will have much more security at City whereas here a run of bad games is enough to get him sacked.

True, which is why i think city is the much easier option, but i still think he would like to come back to chelsea more as he is already loved here, and people don't always choose the easy option. Roman does seem like the sort of extremely stubborn person but he does love the club and loves to see it winning so bringing back arguably the best (one of the best) managers in the world wouldn't be too surprising to me.

City will match our offer and provide everything that jose wants, but jose has a home in london, loves the city and loves the club. So its defiitely not gonna be a clear choice either way...

Or City can do us a favour and not sack mancini. :D

I dont think so. I really believe Mourinho would have more security here. He will have 110% of everyone's support and by hiring him RA will be stating he is aware there arent any more options on he market.

I trully think he would be like God here, his ego cant ask for much.

As far as money and players, nothing that a 150mi transfer window and Mourinho's tactics cant handle, lol.

1. How many rich, powerful men do you know who aren't prepared to put success before their egos? Because they aren't going to be rich men for long.

2. How much control would he have under Begiristain?

There is no question the choice is between us and city.

Squad wise, city is ready to contend right now not us. So baring any major transfer in the summer, it really depends on what Mourinho want.
