The Next Manager?

all this aside, who here thinks that pep will be successful at bayern?

One thing that Pep has proven himself good at is building a strong team. But I'm unsure whether he'll be able to recruit enough young talent like he could from La Masia. He's going to need to work with a team filled with experienced legends. To make that team work to his liking is going to be a tough job.

in my opinion bayern is going to have a hard time.

on the lighter side to things - now we can actually see robben passing the ball or will we?? :)

Ha Guradriola signing once again for a team that guarantees domestic titles cos 80% of the opposite teams are simply shit. One might have thought Guardiola would have wanted to prove himself in the best league of the world, where every game is a challenge instead of the least competitive league in the world Blindeliga.

No idea who is RAs primary option now. I'll check the odds.

If I didn't care about the club, or like it in any way, shape or form then I might agree with you.

But I couldn't stand him being our manager. He can get us top four and fuck off.

That means praying Swansea beat us in the League Cup, hoping Brentford do us in the FA Cup and also looking for a two-leg Sparta Prague victory.

I'd also double his pay-off if he took Torres with him. I'm not sure how slavery works but surely he'd be inclined to take Nando as his own personal butt-boy.

Mourinho doesn't like working under DoF's from what I've read. I have no idea of his personal opinion on Emenalo.

If you care about the club, you would never posted these dribbles here.

Under Rafa the club plays better & much nicer football. Had he been Chelsea´s coach from the start of this season, the club would be still competing in CL, easily.

I do agree. I don't want to see Mourinho return because I think it's not always a good idea for somebody who is regarded as a God to come back in case of it going wrong. Like you said it's also a case of this team not being set up for Mourinho's style of tactics. I hope we look in the direction of somebody who has the same hunger Mourinho had when he first arrived here at The Bridge.

It's like watching a movie you loved as a kid, as an adult. It just isn't the same and you will probably end up hating it. (Or, like when I re-watched the Wizard of Oz when I was older. When I was a kid, I thought Glinda was beautiful. She really isn't. Very disappointing ) Mourinho was the right coach for us at the time but I don't think he's the right coach for the future. I also don't think people remember what the end of Mourinho was like. We were playing terribly and there was just so much craziness around the club. Pretty similar to what's happening in Real Madrid actually. Here are the reasons I don't think Mourinho should or will be back.

1) He didn't get along with Roman. Doubt that will change.

2) Roman wants a specific attacking system. Jose is a win at all costs manager.

3) Mourinho likes defensive solidity and counter-attack. We've bought the opposite sort of players.

4) The drama Jose brings. It's one thing I'd like a lot less of going forward. We've had way too much (except for the CL last year...more of that please). Can you imagine Cech getting benched for Turnbull? Rumours coming out how the Portuguese-speaking players are favoured, etc...

very true because losing to teams like juve and shakhtar (away) is far far worse than losing to qpr and swansea at home... right?

We have a worse record under Rafa than under RDM facing much worse competition. We've had a very easy schedule under Rafa and still have been poor. Yes, we racked up some goals a few times, but that doesn't come close to making up for some truly dreadful losses. You really think this team that couldn't beat QPR or Swansea at home, would have beaten Juventus in Turin? Come on!
