This is how our fans slowly but surely have started settling for less. I remember many people on this forum that were "happy" with Drinkwater when we missed out on Tolisso last season.

I’ll readily admit to being one of those. I don’t think it was genuine happiness, definitely not on my part, it’s more a coping mechanism for the drizzling shits our dealings have become.

The point about Blanc knowing the Premier League is kinda bullshit really. He played in it for only 2 years and that was like 15 years ago! Didn't serve Kenny Dalglish well when we returned to Liverpool couple of years ago, did it?

#ADL

Think that has been obvious all this time, no? They are willing to let Sarri go but the problem is we do not want to pay the fee and are dragging this out due to being cheapskate bastards!

What else is new.. Do it plenty of times with players not shocked doing it with a manager as well.

There is no point hiring someone who won't last..so they'd most likely end up paying out money anyway so might as well do it now.

Mean not like we have a stadium to pay for yet or anytime soon so can't use that excise

What makes Tolisso better than Mount or RLC? Nothing apart from having more experience playing at that level. This is why RLC and Mount need to be back at the club, training and playing with us. The same for Bailey, he has more experience than say Musonda or Hudson-Odoi, but is it better? I don't personally think so. Give our own youngsters the minutes he has had and they would likely have the same hype.

Him saying he’s not a vindictive person same as he will be very reasonable if Chelsea comes to negotiate for Sarri maybe suggest ADL won’t ask for 8 mill.
