Unionjack 7,531
I dont mind Guss. Hes put a smile on the lads faces and a spring in their step but giving him a years contract is just daft IMHO. It would mean another year probably without transfers and unknowing if the manager who eventually takes over will rate them. Whoever we get THEY should be told ASAP so they can be working at what their plan will be and team/staff changes. You jjust know that Pep/Mou will be well ahaed of the game when they take over with their cheque books in hand. Of course it would be nice for us lot to know too but thats really not important.
Fernando 6,585
You know I have to say, I liked what I saw from Allegri. His personality, his way of changing the game. Definetly a bright character as to opposed the miserable Mourinho, Conte type of look. Allegri character looks like it inject passion and enthusiasm, the others just look jaded and boring. Chelsea Buzz 487
Conte seems like the top choice to me. Success at Juve. Coaches an open, attacking style. He likes to play multiple formations. Prefers to coach to his talent instead of forcing everyone to his system. Players seem to have respect for him. Obviously there are weaknesses too, but it appears he is the best candidate based on the names I have seen. It will be interesting to see how long it takes him to understand the grueling EPL schedule, etc. Come on up, Antonio Conte! Should make the summer and season a lot of fun. Come on you Chelsea!! Popular Post! xPetrCechx 13,573 Posted February 24, 2016 Popular Post! Share Posted February 24, 2016 Conte is closing in on becoming #Chelsea manager, with the Italian confident that he has seen off rivals Simeone and Allegri. [Independent] Antonio Conte became #Chelsea’s leading candidate with the manager ready for a challenge outside Italy. The club declined to comment. [Mail] Antonio Conte could be confirmed by #Chelsea before the start of Euro 2016 to avoid speculation during the tournament. [Mail] Conte has told #Chelsea he'd like to bring Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini with him if he moves to London in the summer. [Express] Antonio Conte knows Michael Emenalo is useless even though he has never been at Chelsea. I like this guy. Sign him up! petre.ispirescu 4,928
Well if Contes the chosen one & indeed favours a two-striker formation, then he better use it the right way and go with two bloody strikers. Two pure centre forwards. Hopefully the Chelsea board does not impose him to use something to suit Oscar because quite frankly I'd be going mental. Enough is enough, we've already lost a brilliant player in Kevin De Bruyne because of Mourinhos love for Oscars work rate and shit. Flog him to fucking China and let's get over with it. Four years in this country and he is horse shite. No need to rebuild around him. Topico, killer1257 and bellion

Why are you blaming Jose for this? The Board has enforced a one in one out policy for several seasons. This reinforces the low net spend policy which is a deliberate club stance to the detriment of performances and results on the pitch.
