To hire someone with zero European experience would be stupid.

We should divide managers/players in two sections only: good and bad. And he is very good :) end of story. If you want European experience than we should go for Capello and play boring football once again ;)

Just don't bring any "tactical" coach, who will defend with 11 men against any decent opponent. I want to see desire that we can overplay any team in the world. We should hire a manager with passion and desire to work here and to build his own team, he should be given time to bring team back to title race, we shouldn't demand an instant success. I wouldn't mind Eddie Howe here, his team is playing free flowing attacking football with two main attacking players out injured (Wilson and Gradel). My only concern is his age, so I prefer Sampaoli. But Eddie Howe is good, big future ahead of this coach ;)

According to Sky Sport journalist @AAlciato, Antonio Conte is close to becoming manager of Chelsea.

In Italy they're giving it as already done for some reason on the second most important channel on tv.

I would still take it with a pinch of salt though, at least until more sources say it's done :)

Neither of the Italian managers (Conte & Allegri) excite me at all. Just think they'd be in over their heads here and be gone within a year or two.

Honestly, if the choice is between those two and Pellegrini I'd have Pellegrini. At least he has great experience working with a top PL club and knows the ins and outs of English football.

Desperately want Simeone as my #1 choice. He'd make us competitors quickly and has the perfect personality.
