Funny how people here are praising Tuchel over Potter considering the fact that Tuchel had a 42% win percentage this season before he got fired 🤣
So the win percentage basically stayed the same the whole season.

U can argue about Potter and replacing him by lets say Pep, but in fact Potter ist just prolonging what Tuchel started.

Also, if u look at the end of last season, our win percentage under Tuchel in the last 10 games of last years season dropped to 33%! There was a decline that started way earlier. And we are still in this dip.

New board new players new ideas, same old fans. But to be fair to the fans crying out for change already, it will take time for the hire and fire mentality to change

2 wins from 13 in the league.  With more time maybe we can win 3 or 4 in the future

Two of Chelsea's January arrivals - Mykhaylo Mudryk and Noni Madueke - were influential going forward, but struggled to track back and Rice cited that as an area where West Ham were able to enjoy some success.

He said: "With the team they put out they started really sharply, really quickly. They had some really, really good players on show. It took us a little while to get going and adapt to their system.

"But once we found out their weakness, getting the ball down the sides of them and realised their wingers weren’t really tracking back. We managed to get the goal from that and exploit that. The last 20 minutes was there for us and we could have nicked it."

Interesting comments by Rice...

That can't possibly be true! here any player who isn't the [maligned player of the month] is always a win/win by definition!
Mount tracks back as did Werner! the horror! 🤭

Can we stop using Arteta as a an example of why we should give a midtable manager more time? Arteta has worked with Guardiola and plenty of silverware as assistant manager under his belt plus a respectable playing career. However, as an Arsenal coach he has won just the Anthony Taylor FA cup so far and looks on course to squander an 8 point lead. If they are still top after their second City game, then fair game but till then questions marks remain. If the board have some valuable insight in why GP is one of the best then we have no other choice than trusting them but the rationalisations we get from journalists supposedly itk are flimsy at best.

Their momentum is indeed bad, and reckon losing Jesus has finally caught up with them.

Interesting thoughts from Tuchel's ex-assistant coach Zsolt Lőw

That's what many of us have been saying from the first day. It isn't a question of "what's Potter ceiling as a manager?", because that's not a question to be answered at a club like Chelsea. He should've done more *before* getting a shot at Chelsea, and of course! it affects how much sway Potter has with the players. Brighton is just way TOO different from Chelsea as a club, which made the assignment really odd in my mind.

I'm convinced that Potter does not have the squad like Tuchel once did. I think he's got some players playing for him, but not nearly enough. The club is giving him support, but it is all about whether the key players will buy into that or not. Time is on their side, which makes for all the "player power" these days.

I respect wanting to make a difference and supporting charity, but mourinho would never let himself get photographed doing that. He even sounds like a wetwipe in the interview.

Well, that was publicity action after all, so they surely wanted to use their image for this. Respect for Potter and guys for engaging into charity, but whose twisted idea was this thing? Making rich people pretend homeless people AND doing this in front of group of paparazzis is hardly a tasteful thing, to say the least, imho, even if done with best intentions in mind.

Who gives a fuck what Mourinho would do with his private life.  G.Potter is a humble human being who shows that he himself is aware of those who are less fortunate. Showing humility to those who suffer doesn't warrant being called a wet wipe.

This isn't his private life though. He is being photographed and being put on the Internet. This picture is doing the rounds on social media with no context.

2 years ago! It's good he supports a charity..its a annual thing as well and has been done at the Bridge and other grounds before either supporting this charity or another. He even says he is a patron of the charity so it kinda makes sense and Brighton did and still does have a high level unfortunately.

Yeah, of course it is and I'm not even digging on GP or anyone who participated here. It just seems a very odd and rather insensitive form of raising awareness for me, but maybe it's just me.
