they are selling all their strikers and only have the one injury prone, albeit world class, striker? Hmm.

Bony is still there. They might sign a cheap striker for 3rd choice, sign a versatile forward or use Sterling as a 3rd option.

I'm more interested on their plans to improve their midfield, both centre midfield and options out wide. If they stick to 4-2-3-1, they'll need more than Silva, Sterling, Nasri and Navas. The Fernando/Fernandinho-Toure partnership isn't working. Maybe Toure in the #10 role and a new player in centre midfield.

If City can spend £50m on ONE of their targets (you know they'll sign a couple more players) it means that FFP isn't a concern for them at all.

Why can't we also go out and buy a special player or two?

Because Chelsea is a poor club. Poverty sucks.

It's not working because yaya decided to be a tool last season.....

If yaya actually played hard, the combo of 2 brazilians-yaya would be the best midfield in the epl...

Not sure. Yaya is 32, hugely reliant on his declining physical attributes. He will not play another season like the 2013/14 one. Fernando-Fernandinho or just above average.

However Sterling is a step for them in the right direction. They need young, ambitious players with WC potential, as most of their major players are into early decline. But I reckon he won't make immediate impact.

However it is worrysome that we missed out on another rare homegrown talent. We are reducing our squad size unnecessrily when not signing homegrown players while losing one almost every year.

Titus Mangala & Sterling = 82m fee combined. He's got a point. Football has gone full retard.

MangalA is a good player, even Kompany looks a shadow of his best self under Pellegrino, he is basically a better version of Rodgers, i.e. a "style" obsessent who puts fuck all thought into the defensive side of the game.

If we got him we would have seen a completely different player.
