They clearly viewed him as someone who could eventually take them to the top if these clowns up top gave him the right tools instead of more kids. This interview from Cucu is what we need more of from our big players, though. BlueCo may choose to simply ignore the supporters, put their heads in the sand, and push forward with their same awful transfer policy. But they won’t be able to ignore their big star players that THEY SIGNED calling them out and potentially pushing to leave their “project” because of their incompetence. I agree with Cucu but he isn't going to be rewarded for it, he will be hung out to dry/sold no doubt and all the questions put on the manager for him to blag his way out of it. Whats that got to do with anything 🤣 Mata was twice POTY two seasons prior to being sold then he asked to leave due to a lack of minutes in an international tournament season, not like the club were desperate to offload him. Oscar again was out the team with Conte, China offer came in and the money was crazy. And what because football players live in London they should be grateful? I've mentioned in a number of posts that it was inevitable that these guys would eventually leave for La Liga. You can't expect Enzo, Cucu to be here for 6-7 years and not challenge for silverware, they also have ambitions. We haven't been a serious club since the UK forced Roman to sell.
