Chelsea Transfers

Guess we’ll find out very soon how determined Xavi has been about Chelsea and only Chelsea as has been reported time and again.

Or whether he just got extremely annoyed/frustrated that we have been dragging this on for over a month with no movement and Spuds have turned his head. Convinced him that he’s the key to them becoming a top team or something.

As it stands we have full control on what happens with Simons, he wants to come but it's down to us, if we want him we get it done, if not we are going to walk away and let him join Spurs.

Spurs only come into it if we drop all interest, right now with us in club to club talks the door isn't open to them, the door only opens if we allow it

Should've fucking signed Simons first and Garnacho last since he rejected everyone and said he would wait until last day for us.

Hard to understand. Especially with Palmer currently injured you’d think we’d want to aggressively push through Xavi who can slot in seamlessly into that position and hit the ground running.

Instead, we’re prioritizing Garnacho who would surely be weeks away from being match ready even if he were signed today. He hasn’t played football in how long now? With no preseason?

Hard to care about Simons, Garnacho, Fermin or whoever else when the two biggest problems in the squad are GK and CB, two positions with no rumours and the club don't give a fuck about, despite being the two things that would be transformational and genuinely elevate us if we sorted them out, instead we're losing our minds looking for squad depth in positions we already have/had reasonable options.

Doesn't matter if we lose our on Simons and Spurs pay a fuck load for him. Its just squad filler we're stressing about here. That's why the club have not moved fast on any of it. They got the signings they thought were important done early.

Understandable, but look at Liverpool currently. Their defense has looked comically poor so far this season but their attack can destroy anyone at any time.

I’m mostly fine on going all in on the attack this window and addressing the GK and CB areas next window or next summer as needed.

If Garnacho is our final signing I think we’re fighting with Newcastle and whoever else for 4th until the very last day again like last season.

Without that last true difference maker in our attack which I think Xavi would be, we don’t have enough to push above 4th.

Good move for all parties involved. We get a reasonable fee for him when the add-ons are taken into account, Nkunku gets a great move to Italy to play for a good side.

Amazing when he arrived - but quite often players flatter to decieve - and there have been quite a few
