Duppy Conqueror 1,570 Posted August 13 Share Posted August 13 The whole story may never come out but my theory on Veiga and Maresca is with established pros like Caicedo,Neto,Palmer,Cucurella etc..taking on roles that aren't their personal favourites without a fuss.maybe Veiga didn't react in a positive way to doing the same. He was having a good start to his career here,Maresca was praising him,he was getting plenty of minutes.then suddenly it's over. I have a feeling his departure was unexpected even behind the scenes and nobody really goes for him few days before the season starts.. He is totall different type of GK than Ederson, Onana or Sanchez, his passing is not so good.. Perhaps none of these rumoured teams want to mess their squad right now.
