Anyone else worried about no of new players coming in? We can't replace half a squad every summer (and sometimes winter) and expect them to integrate without a problems:

- Sarr

- Santos (he spent 2 preseasons with us, but I still count him as new), Essugo

- Estevao, Gittens, Pedro, Delap

That's 7 players already, with rumors of GK, LB, CB, another AM, that would take us to 11 new players, with 2 new players already ready to be included for next season- Quenda and Paez.

These dumb owners try to treat players like stocks. Expecting price inflation and making bets on young players.

Problem being the bets are expensive bets....all between 50-115 million and all with 7 year contracts.

Keep buying 5-7 players every year and then not being able to sell well.

We were incredibly good sellers at one point of time till these owners decided to triple the squad size.

Feels truly like a recipe for disaster and a united like situation eventually - where players go rogue and start posting things on social media because they obviously are unhappy. 40 players cannot be happy anywhere.

Neto and Gittens will be insanely fast on the counter.

Wonder if we're secretly building a park the bus and counter team and try to be a team that win 1-0 and solve the defensive problems without solving the defensive problems (i.e. hide our shit GK + CBs deficiencies by playing super defensive / deep / boring, instead of spending money to rebuild it and be a team that can play attacking and win big without being crazy open at the back).

Then maybe we tackle those problems next summer...

Romano reporting talks now underway between Spurs and Kudus, Kudus open to the move, talks continue on both sides but there are two other teams in the race for him

Kudus was always going to be be a luxury/over the top sort of signing after the business we’ve already done. I viewed it as highly unlikely as soon as it was reported that we still wanted him.

Spuds are right to move quickly to get him to agree to go there because we surely need to sell before going for someone else in attack.

On a totally unrelated note, how the fuck haven't United signed Mbeumo yet? Ha ha feels like they have been trying to get him years, not weeks

The United fans are going mental

They’re probably trying to haggle Brentford into letting them pay in 5 installments or something.

Haha have been thinking for a couple of weeks it would be hilarious if we outbid them for him just to raise the price but then also don't move at all and turn the whole thing into a deadline day saga for them

Mbeumo's current club isn't stupid, they will milk United for as much as possible.  I'm surprised Spurs didn't put in a formal bid.

Steinberg (usually reports on West Ham transfers) saying West Ham want around 60m for Kudus.

Good pick up for them, with Son linked to Saudi

I’d bite their hand off if they want Madueke. I’m sure he’ll have sporadic flashes of brilliance there like he has here but he will inevitably stink it up more often than not. If we can make a sizable profit on him whilst simultaneously stopping Arsenal getting an actual top winger it would be fantastic business.

I thought the Osimhen deal fell through because his agent wanted ridiculous wages, which was above the club's wage structure.

And then somehow he ended up in Turkey of all places

That's what we are lead to believe. Either way, I'm sure we could have come to a reasonable agreement for one of the best CF's around. £165kpw for someone of his calibre was insulting.
