Reminds me of when we got Demba Ba.  He'd do alright as a squad player, seems to have decent finishing and would be an upgrade on Broja.

If the club sell Broja there are not many options in the market. Who else do you suggest bringing in January ?

Lukaku - A sentimental buy that almost everyone on this board knew wasn't going to work.

Kepa - Overspent because Marina decided to play games with Thibo.

Pulisic - A marketing ploy

Fofana - A crock.

If we actually use our money wisely, the fee will almost be irrelevant.

Seeing reports we would be after Ollie Watkins this summer. This season could be a one off but he’s been pretty good at all the things we are looking for. Holding up the ball, bringing other players into the game and most importantly finishing. 
 

This rumour I don’t mind at all.

Definitely don’t think we could have both but if it was possible then move Jackson out to the wings where he is better. Plus who is to say that if we do get Osimhen if he will hit the ground running at least you know what you are getting from Watkins.

I would be okay with just Watkins if we could find a winger that scores goals

Yeah, I would be careful with Guirassy.

He has 17 Bundesliga goals and one assist in 1058 minutes. 3 pens.

Undav has 12 goals and 3 assists in 1048 mins. So with no pens both have 15 goals contribution. Looks great on paper but looks like Stuttgart have amazing platform for them to succeed and score goals.

True but when you look at the quality of goals esp guirassy has scored that is still ingenious forward play. Great movement, nice crisp finishes and some really clever improvisation. The ability is there. However I do concede that his previous record and history of bad misses is a sign Guirassy is a confidence player and stuttgart indeed have managed to make him feel at home to unleash his full potential . Ideally we would find someone who is just so settled mentally and naturally unshakable-confident that he can shut out all the shit that is going on at our club and still score reliably. Our terrible conversion record at the club is a sure sign that most of our current players Fall well short here.
