Personally, I am more concerned with Kepa in goal than getting a DM atm. After that, we also look really light in the attack, we only have three AM's plus Angelo (unlikely to get a work permit) and Moriera (unknown quantity.) At CF we have no one past Jackson currently as Broja is injured. Then the CM positions are super young. Pizy 19,036 Posted July 30, 2023 Share Posted July 30, 2023 We need a world class DM, one of Kudus or Cherki, and a solid goalkeeper to compete with and push Kepa HARD so that he feels that immense pressure to perform his best knowing that he could lose his spot again. Get those 3 and we can make a real push for 2nd-4th. Don’t get those and we’ll be competing with Spuds, Villa, Newcastle, and maybe Brighton for 5th-9th. The Blues recently made contact with the agent of Disasi. Laurence Stewart, former Monaco, now at is a fan of the CB. MUFC & PSG interested. Almost feels like we HAVE walked away from Caicedo and are using that money on other areas instead. First the DM and now the right sided CB. He’s not an every match starter for a club like Chelsea but he is great squad cover. Genuinely loves the club, too.
