The FFP does not count the expenditure done by clubs for establishing and maintaining youth academies but they do count the profit made by the Clubs after selling the Young Academy Graduate. This comes in as a two way escape route for the clubs as their expenditure would be low but profits will be added. This provokes the Clubs to have extensive youth academy setup where they have many players but they are not given any opportunity to represent the club at First team level. They are there just to hone their skills and make them look like a progressive talent so that these players can then be transferred to another club willing to pay for them.

But he did raise our marketability in the US, sold some merch and that purple patch of his got us into top 4 so was clutch. Some big money gambles were failures from the get go but this one I think was one the club was entitled to take.

He’s the right age too at 32 that doesn’t put too much pressure on Slonina. That could be a great pick up for the right price he was really good in the World Cup.

The Jamaican National Team is called The Reggae Boys. Partly because Bob Marley and then after he passed his family puts a lot of money to the Jamaican team.

 

This is a 19 page thread about Whisper over the last two or three years. On page 14 is an interview with his mom after he committed to a pre-contract with Chelsea. He has been called Whisper for a long time because he doesn’t talk a lot with people, but he does with people close to him. It is an interesting read. Sad that there is a money grab from those around him. Omari Hutchinson is close to him. His family loves that he is with Chelsea. He was 6’3” at 17, and 6’4” now. Has an uncle that is 7’ and back up center for the Hornets in the NBA. I had no idea we stole him from Newcastle. Joe Shields got him to Chelsea along with Santos. The thread is a good read.
