With just Madueke, Mudryk and Sterling we may keep Pulisic since we need 4 wingers. Depends where will Nkunku play. But definitely it will be beneficial to have him for USA pre season.

You never know CHO may stick around as backup winger (if both Pulisic & Ziyech are sold this summer), I don't see massive amounts of interest in him as he was pretty average for Leverkusen on loan.

If this were a normal Chelsea season where we were in Europe and played 60 games I’d say keep one of them. But I think Mudryk, Nkunku, Sterling, and Madueke are enough for the two wing positions with only domestic competitions to worry about.

If we get some sort of injury crisis amongst our 4 wide attackers we can always switch formations to 3 at the back and use the wingbacks for width.

So it's not 100m for a season but 4 seasons.

We can’t get rid of all our English players if mount RLC and CHO all leave this window we are going to need to get players to replace them. We can’t just use u21 players otherwise we won’t be able to register some first team players.

Bettinelli, Colwill, James, Chilwell, Madueke,Sterling are 6 certain. So just 2 more? If we sell Cucurella one of Maatsen/Hall will stay. And there is a possibility of Chalobah or Gallagher staying. Plus Broja could be backup.

I was worried we were going to have to bite the bullet and either terminate contracts or let these guys rot on our bench for a couple of years. But wow, we may actually be getting sizable fees for players who had no future here.

With KK looking to be off and with Thiago Silva surely playing his last year here there is absolutely no chance Colwill can be even loaned now. He should get lots of minutes now.

The thought of this squad gives me confidence

Gk1 - Mamadarshvilli - 25mn

Gk2 - Kepa (Unsellable)

Gk3 - Bettilini (Need to loan Slonina so next year he can take over from Kepa)

Rb1 - Reece

Rb2 - Malo Gusto

Lb1 - Chilwell

Lb2 - Hall

Cb1 - Silva

Cb2 - Fofana

Cb3 - Badiashille

Cb4 - Colwill

Cb5 - Chalobah

Cm1 - Enzo

Cm2 - Caicedo - 75mn

Cm3 - Lavia - 30mn

Cm4 - Santos /Cassedei (One to go on loan)

Cm5 - Chukwuemeka

Rw1 - Madueke

Rw2 - Omari Hutchinson

Lw1 - Sterling

Lw2 - Mudryk

Fw1 - Nkunku

Fw2 - Vlahovic - 70mn

Fw3 - Broja (Loan out Datro)

Fw4 - Nicolas Jackson - 30mn

Just sell the rest, 25 men are enough for a non european season. Net spend of 230 mn and probably we recoup more than 300mn selling the rest. FFP should be taken care of.

I thought this would be impossible this window. Thank you Todd for going over and cooking with the Saudis.

This is a small profit on our accounting books also. This is a smart idea from the board

Bettinelli, James, Chalobah, Chilwell, Hall, Connor, Sterling, Broja - Will still have 8 HG after selling Mount RLC CHO

Lost love: Drogba in his only season with MarseilleMarseille's forward Didier Drogba eyes the ball during his French L1 match against Le Mans, 13 September 2003 at the Velodrome stadium in Marseille....

Correct.

Mourinho., Ferguson and Wenger were all scouting Drogba at the time he came on to the scene in French football.

Only we took the chance back then, because he was a bit pricy for a relatively unproven player.

Same with Hazard. Everyone was looking at him.

Only we took the chance. (Plus we had some inside assistance from Joe Cole and Drogba)
