Am I the only one who doesn't see it with Odegaard? Even last week with Arsenal in full control he was invisible.

Big shout but I think we should fuck Mount off. 

Bring in a real quality CM.

Forget the Leaos and Nkunkus as I can't see them coming if we finish outside top 4.

Get the Ivan Toneys and Trossards.

They are better than what we have and are good enough to push us back into the top 4 if managed correctly.

It's a myth it's (that much) harder to attract players without top 4. Maybe if it becomes a theme but for one year I very much doubt it.

True... but even if you look at the other projects around us... they look more appealing for top players right now. Who wants to join us with the way we are playing football. Its truly tragic stuff.

Things change quickly in football. Casemiro joined United when they were looking like having a Chelsea 15/16 level season.

I think he is a brilliant player tbh. The one thing he did not really do much was score but his dribbling is top class. Brilliant technique/vision. ESR is criticised a lot by Arsenal fans. He scored a lot of goals last season but they generally feel he goes missing a lot. I was annoyed when Arsenal got him from Real as he was till young and would improve. I think he has been one of their best players. He is the perfect player for Arsenal, especially in terms of getting the ball out wide to Martinelli and Saka.

Exactly that's what mean. Top 4 last year and some of our targets still said no...went to Barcelona and no Champions league for this year. Long as can make ourselves look appealing and there is something to build on that can help as well!

A big decision is going to have to be made with him sooner or later due to his contract.

If nothing has been agreed by the end of the season, we would need to look at moving him on with a year left. 

The problem I see with his contract situation is he's likely looking at James' contract as a measuring stick for his own. I don't think he should be paid as much as that. He deserves a significant bump in pay but I'm not sure he should be at the very top of the pay scale here.

I'd rather have him than not here 100% but on the same token, I don't think he should just be a guaranteed starter which he seems to be at the moment. Not sure what Potter's plans are moving forward. I think Mount is better suited in a deeper role in a midfield 3, which allows then 3 attackers ahead of him, and he can then fill into those 3 attackers sometimes if needed.

Think we should go all in, if a WC CB does become available though.

Silva will be on his way out (surprise he had been able to start so many matches), Koulibaly looks like an injury hampered, shot player, and there are concerns with Fofana too.

We need at least one good guaranteed starter of a center back like we had with Rudiger.

Midfield buys are a no brainer. Even with a CB target.

I agree with your assessment on Mount, but it's a tricky situation and probably a frustrating one for him too.

He was voted player of the year 2 seasons in a row, and must be wondering what more he needs to do be warrant the same contract Reece James got.

But it's down to him to also go up another level especially in terms of consistency. He cannot afford to turn up for one game and recede into the background for the next 2 at this level.

Regarding Mount, right now he is a level or sometimes 2 under Reece hence why I don't think we will offer him close to what we offered Reece. Mount also needs to reflect on this and work on his game. Tbh Reece is just different gravy.

you say that about RJ but I'm still not convinced of his defensive abilities. He still gets caught ball watching.
