 Nah, we don’t want Werner to go to another PL club and suddenly turn into the old version to embarrass us every week. Him returning to Leipzig is ideal. And hopefully on a permanent deal so his massive wages are off the book and we don’t have to worry about it next summer.

I am curious who is going to be our main striker for next season? I know that thomas said defense is our priority but we also don't have a proper striker in the ranks do we?

TBH, I am shocked that City aren't pursuing this deal. Walker is getting on and is injury prone. Cucurella will fit their LB spot for years to come and suits their football style perfectly. They spent £100m on Grealish, over £40m on Phillips who doesn't get in their best team. £40m on Ake who they did not need and will end up playing LB a lot next season when they get injuries. Cucurella for £50m is a deal. Their loss honestly.

What I like about watching Cucurella is his ability not be afraid to play a killer pass into the feet of someone.

I'd like to say risk taker but he's just really good at picking a pass and tracking space.

I’m very surprised too. Maybe they come to their senses at the last moment now they realize we’re close? He is the picture perfect Pep player. Hard to imagine why they’re scoffing at paying just £10m more than their current offer. They’ve spent £50m on fullbacks 3 times before without thinking twice. Why stop now?

Havertz will be CF1 next season. If people like value betting (know what that means) Havertz at 66/1 for league top scorer is one of the best bets in that market.

Unless this was an absolute mandate by Chicago in order to do the deal I wonder why we agreed to it. We really going to have Betanelli as our #2 until January? That’s incredibly risky.

That interesting. RLC seems like okey backup for James but Tuchel wants someone else, most likely Dumfries.
