Or at least not the first deal we do. GK & CB in any order then CF have to be the top 3. The can get another LW & CM. If theres cash for it…. And in all likelihood a LW will only happen if we offload any of the undesirables who play there currently - Mudryk, Garnacho or Gittens. Our options we had there was why we didn’t go for Semenyo was it not? If we did actually go him at all 😂🙄 Plus is Rogers not best as a 10? So Palmer sits on the bench or we shoehorn either Palmer onto the right with him central or Palmer centrally with Rogers onto the left? 🤦♂️ Mike Penders will be our next no 1. We need to buy a serious CB who has leadership qualities. I’m still not convinced J.Pedders should be our first choice striker either. I really like him and what he brings to the team but I’d still rather an Osimhen or another killer up top. Then LW needs to be addressed. Sell Neto, Enzo, Tosin, Jorgensen, Jackson, Garnacho & Delap. Buy CB, ST, LW of high quality with the incoming additions of Emegha, Penders, & Quenda. Reddish-Blue

Jury still out on Penders, Quenda & Emegha to we see them in a Chelsea shirt. Think a lot of people are in for a shock if they think they will bring anything different/more quality than what we already have. A lot of potential perhaps (as usual) but they won’t be the difference. Agree though with the sales, barring Neto (frustrating because he could be so much better but he just doesn’t have that bit between his teeth) & maybe Enzo if we can get a more mobile player of similar technical quality, personally am all for it, blows hot and cold far too much. Not the sort of midfield player who is going to dominate big games. Also agree on needing a top top 1 CB & CF. But won’t matter without a top GK - look at Liverpool pre Alisson. Top GKs are worth their weight in gold.

Special Juan 28,615 Posted yesterday at 08:52 Share Posted yesterday at 08:52 It will be a hundred percent loan players back in as opposed to buying big players in The club has massively changed and I said before we won't see anymore massive signings, it will all be hope that the loan army can step up, coming with this is more missing out on top four and fighting for Europe and not titles

Penders has the talent to be #1 for years to come, would hate to see him sold on the cheap (unless of course someone like Donnarumma became available in the market)

Wouldn’t matter who he brought, both are Strasbourg players and both probably not the calibre needed for a number 1 CF. Emegha’s goal record for his time in France is pretty decent prior to his injury. As is Panichelli’s. And in all fairness, I have huge dislike for Winstanley & co but it is not like Panichelli is going to end up at any other big club is it? We own Strasbourg so its a 99% certainty if he is to move it will be here, no? 😂🤨

That's as good as it gets. Pedro definitely proved he is capable of being first striker. If continues this form maybe he reaches 20 goals mark. Would need 6 in 9. And he would never be a issue if surrounded with great wingers. So after CB prioritiy for me would be LW. Estevao already showed he is special and we need Palmer back in previous form and that's it. Backup striker would be nice since Delap and Jackson are not good enough.

Backup striker would be nice since Delap and Jackson are not good enough. Is Penders ready? Courtois played around 200 games in total for Genk & Atletico before we took him back and made him number 1. He probably was ready the season or two before from when he actually did return right enough but we had Cech. He also won trophies at Atletico and was an incredibly vital part of that team. Unfortunately we don’t have a top GK so if Penders isn’t ready, then we are in the same place again. I do think they’ll bring him back as opposed to buy a GK because it isn’t the logical thing to do (standard Clownlake). Still don’t know if using Courtois as a comparison is exactly fair or correct. Joao Pedro has done well, I like his all round game and he is scoring goals (hattrick tonight) but if you can get a top CF in, we have to, to make that leap and push to be more than just scrapping for top 4. He isn’t so good that you don’t need to have another top player in that position. He is good but he shouldn’t impede the club looking at other top attacking options. Or going for a lower quality option to be a back up. Not convinced that CB pairing is really that good either, they played earlier in the season and we still weren’t exactly solid. It is better than what see now but again, would strengthen there if we want to be looking at pushing on. Someone who is a top player to partner & mentor Colwill would be great. For the team and for his development. Wes doesn’t convince me entirely and his injury record is poor. LW is abysmal yeah, Gittens, Garnacho, Mudryk…. all shite. If we can sort those positions with some actual top class players, I guarantee we will be a much better side. Ok finding them is difficult but title winning teams aren’t a squad full of 18-24 year olds.

Panichelli will have a choice of clubs assuming he wants to test himself elsewhere. We might own Strasbourg but that doesn't mean we can sign all their players. Would just lead to a UEFA/FIFA investigation and transfer ban.

According to Brazilian outlet Bolavip, the London club are working on a major proposal that could arrive on Palmeiras president Leila Pereira’s desk around mid-year. The idea is to advance negotiations if the 21-year-old maintains his current form and continues scoring goals for manager Abel Ferreira’s side.
