bigbluewillie 1,939 Posted Sunday at 07:33 Share Posted Sunday at 07:33 Chelsea might trigger a buyback clause to re-sign Belgium midfielder Diego Moreira, 21, from sister club Strasbourg. I actually think the mid is the most important. Pep biggest achievement have been from a midfield that controls everything. bigbluewillie

mkh 633 Posted Sunday at 13:56 Share Posted Sunday at 13:56 (edited) 🟢Breaking News🟢 Chelsea are closing in on the appointment of former Liverpool director of scouting Dave Fallows. Senior role ready for Fallows as he’s gonna be part of the current structure including Paul Winstanley, Laurence Stewart, Joe Shields and Sam Jewell. New Structure: Dave Fallows Paul Winstanley Laurence Stewart Joe Shields Sam Jewell (@Fabrizio Romano) 🔥👌Dave Fallows could be a very good fitfor Chelsea👌🔥 I read a few days ago that Al-Ahli wants to sign Paul Winstanley! I think D. Fallows (65) and David Weir (55) could join the team now. Both are older and have several years of top-level experience. If Dave Fallows joins, I hope he brings Ian Graham (46) with him! 🙌💪The appointment of Dave Fallows is massive news for Chelsea. He was an important cog in Liverpool’s recruitment under Jürgen Klopp, widely seen as among the best in class. This is the first major change to the structure since the appointment of the Sporting Directors in 22/23. Thor 2,759 Posted Sunday at 23:50 Share Posted Sunday at 23:50 As I mentioned - Liverpool overspent on a bunch of average ish players and have an ageing team. They won't be this powerhouse. Found it funny people thought they would steam roll the league again. They'll be in a tough spot in 3-4 years. Our model of picking away but getting young pieces in that fit is far more sutainable long term IMO.

Vesper 30,395
EXCL: Chelsea still looking at signing former Man City player despite transfer move in the summer https://siphillipstalkschelsea.substack.com/p/excl-Chelsea-still-looking-at-signing Chelsea are busy working in the background as we approach another transfer window opening up this window. Whilst January is never going to be as busy as summer transfer windows simply because they are longer and no club really wants to let players go mid-season, there are a few potential situations building up and Chelsea will always be looking at opportunities. Although I wouldn’t be putting this transfer story into that category right now, it is an interesting one to watch for sure. SPTC Sources have revealed that Chelsea are still very much in the frame for former Manchester City attacking midfielder James McAtee, despite him making a move to Nottingham Forest in the summer. As we reported in the summer, Chelsea very much looked at signing McAtee then as well but in the end did not make the move, and he duly signed for Forest. He signed a contract at the club until 2030 but that has not put Chelsea off or ended their interest in the 23-year-old. He is a player that very much stays on Chelsea’s shortlist and it could certainly be one to watch next summer. McAtee is another Joe Shields recommendation and a player who is universally liked at Chelsea, not just by Shields. One to keep an eye on in the near future.
