Colwill was highly rated before he became a good CB because his other skills are quite rare,Enzo wanted a like for like but they cost alot and then what you do when Levi comes back,Acheampong proves that he's the defensive equivalent of Jude.

They are using forward planning by not spending anymore there for now.(same as with keeper) Which I'm fine with but they don't do that with the rest of squad.they'll target one player at a position and already target another at the same position before they even have the first one join up with the squad.

Overall I'm happy with the overall new additions.counting ones already signed previously. Transfer window itself the good,bad and ugly.

The problem is that Sanchez finished the season well, which meant they didn't want another goalkeeper and are waiting for the youngster on loan to grow and take over.

Regarding the center-back situation, it's difficult to sell Badiashile and Fósana, which means that by signing another, we'll be left with too many players and hinder the future of Achepeomg, who is seen as the club's future alongside Colwill.

It's a delicate situation.

If Fósana stays injury-free for a few months, it might not be as damaging.

We have had a good window, plenty of additions that will help the team, delap and Pedro up top is a great upgrade from last season, este on the right is going to be a proper proper player, gittens I will not judge and will not right him off yet, santos and other lad who’s name I won’t attempt in the middle are also great additions. Hato will be a solid cover and expect him to start challenging for a starting spot, garnacho for me is a good signing, he’s PL proven, and when I’ve watched untied players he’s been one that always stands out. Personally couldn’t give 2 fucks about Simon’s, we need a CB and a GK

One more top attacking signing would’ve made us a serious threat at top of table and in CL? A top top GK and CB would’ve been more important than Simons, Garnacho or any other attacking players at this point in the window. And would allow us to continue with this younger/developing attacking players because at least we wouldn’t be relying on outscoring teams due to not being able to keep clean sheets from GK errors or poor defending. 

People keep talking about attacking midfielders and wingers but this team will probably never win a CL or a PL without top players in those 2 positions. Point out any title winning teams of the past 10 years without those positions being covered & look at the nearly did/teams that threw it away.. what did they lack?

 

On Simons - mentioned before, why would any attacking player with options where they would be first choice at a pretty competitive level is specifically looking at coming here now when we have the options we have currently is beyond me. We have enough numbers in attack, for any #10s and wide players thinking a move here at present is a good idea, near the end of the window… need their heads examined.

I don't have a problem with forward planning in regard to defenders and Keeper as stated in my previous post.

I just wish they did that more with other part of the squad more.Quenda,Paez,Derry,Rabbaj,Walsh,Rak-Sakyi in the pipeline but we spending fortune or looking too on other young players.George already a victim of this.

3 good players is a good window in my eyes and we got atleast 5,maybe in time more..Acheampong for me is better than any CB we could have realistically got. Scalvini was possible but too much of a gamble until he's proven recovered from his ACL.

I think it'll go down in time as one of our best windows ever.but we did have the chances to make it our best ever and we kinda shit the bed with a couple of deals.

Look at the way Liverpool and City have defended to start the season. Shambolic from both of them. Neither is exactly going to be prime Mourinho Chelsea throughout this season. But what Liverpool will have is an outrageous array of attacking options one they inevitably sign Isak. 

So while yes, we have serious question marks about our defense and keeper, had we made the right attacking signing I truly do think we could’ve mounted a title challenge. We wouldn’t have had enough to actually win it but at least fight for it.

Not bothered about the loan fee, if we get 12m and he does well, it will make him easier to sell, because he sure as shit isn’t going to get much game time here
