thats my opinion also

if we lose mudryk, maybe we need another player, but the most important thing is fix our defense issues

I think there is a lot of recency bias in football, so the fact we didn't score many in the last few games turns focus to that. But the real problem in our team is for sure CB+GK situation.

Very good competition for NJ would be the icing on the cake to me.

Mainoo would maybe get a start for our French club. Maybe.

Typical over hyped guy because he came through at a big club situation.

Yep, he looks like a solid talent but after a promising few appearances last season he has kind of disappeared. Massively overhyped too early.

There were United fans on RedCafe asking if he was a £100m player, ffs! 🤦‍♂️

without a doubt
until recently we were the best attack in the league

an addition to mudryk makes perfect sense if he's suspended, but that's it.

apart from that, we need a central defender, which is the most important thing, to stabilize the defence.

everything started to fall apart with the injuries to fofana and lavia. it's no coincidence

Guehi plays almost exclusively on the left side despite being right footed from what I’ve seen, btw. Something he obviously wouldn’t be doing here if we bought him. I’m sure for a top talent it isn’t a huge deal to play either side, but again for massive money it’s still a risk throwing a guy in at a position that will take some getting used to.

Anyway, it’s kind of concerning that we aren’t really hearing any substantial rumors about a forward. For me that’s even more important than a Cab in the immediate term. Yes our defense can look shaky but by repeatedly failing to kill games off by missing chance after chance up front we basically invite massive pressure at the other end. If we had a clinical killer in front of goal during this awful run of games we’d have been out of sight and cruising and our defense is comfortable.

This is why it is tricky to use “better” or “worse” without qualifiers.

trev is quicker than Tosin, which is more valuable in high D lines than aerial dominance. So, if that’s the goal, trev would prob do a better job than Tosin.

whether trev is good enough long run is a diff story.

Nkunku to PSG and they loan us Milan Skriniar

Would make sense but I think Juventus, Napoli & Atletico are also after Skriniar. He’s on big wages too at PSG, reportedly €10m per season.

Did suggest him in a post on here in November or sometime around then but apparently the football experts claim “hes too slow” or “not good enough” despite the fact he is probably pound for pound a much better CB than everyone at the club 😂

How we even got in the position of having Dewsbury Hall at this club farts my brain

Seemed like Maresca bringing one of his Leicester boys along for the ride...then he realised a few months in that KDH is actually a mid-table player at best 😄

Thing with KDH is we haven’t even got to see how good or poor he actually is. He plays once in the Conference League and then isn’t seen or heard form for ages until the next one. I find it impossible to judge a player unless he’s getting a run of consistent games. It’s kinda hard to show your true levels and build a rhythm when you never play.

You don’t don’t go from player of the season and team of the season to complete dogshit in the space of a few months, no matter what league he did it in. Would he be amazing if he played consistently? Doubtful. But he’d probably be a very decent player for us if he played regularly.

We’ll never see that now clearly. 🤷‍♂️

Guys chill, KDH was simply a way to pay money for maresca but not officially on the books as manager compensation. I'm guessing we will happily take a 10m loss on KDH

Then this stupidity has to stop, as much as it makes sense at the time it is do nothing for us as a club or him as a player. By coming here it has stalled his career by 6 months and it's a waste of time, the lad as bad as he is deserves to be playing.

Just get rid

🔵In addition, Simon Phillips said today

that Enzo Maresca did not want to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Renato Veiga, Felix and Tosin Adarabioyo.
This explains why they receive so little to no attention from Enzo.

Napoli are preparing a bid for Cesare Casadei worth around €15m, but the Blues are hoping for closer to €25m and have already turned down a €12m bid from Torino.

Bournemouth and Wolves are battling it out for Chelsea full-back Renato Veiga. (Mail)

Despite unwavering faith in Nicolas Jackson, another forward could arrive. This will be more urgent if Christopher Nkunku asks to leave.

Chelsea remain extremely keen on Liam Delap. Ipswich reluctant to sell in Jan, but Chelsea are serious and Delap is open to it.
