On another matter We most definitely need to trim our squad before making any more additions. We are probably still 3 or 4 quality players away from properly competing for the CL spots - if Maresca and some of these playerd are all their supposedly cracked up to be - given the current make up of the squad. But before then, what will happen with the likes of Santos, Broja, Ugochuwku, Lukaku, D Fofana, Angelo, Casadei, Kellyman, Gilchrist, Kepa, Anjorin, Sarr, Humphries, Guiu, Washington…. too many players again. So various loans/sales are absolutely required before we sign anyone else. Without those players mentioned above we will already have like 25 players too. The fact that Maresca has gone after players like KDH and Tosin, only solidifies that fact. Whether these players are good enough is a separate question., but they do fit the profile. We’ve got a dozen super young talents like him as it is and the last thing we needed was another one for this upcoming season. I know Yoro is super highly rated but loads of our fans mad or upset that we didn’t go for him is kinda weird. We can’t sign every wonder kid.
