Clearlake have been brutal so far at clearing out problem people and keeping a lid on what happened - we still don’t know what happened with Tuchel aside from rumours about him being a womanising coke head. At least with Roman we knew who was in charge - it was either him or Marina. Now it seems like we have "board of directors", board of owners and who knows who else, everyone pulling in his own direction and putting people supposed to mitigate it in position doesn't seem to mitigate it much after all. It's beyond me why won't we pull out of dealing with Brighton for sole sake of negotations/publicity stunt, just like Inter did with Lukaku the first time. The window isn't closing tomorrow. Clever handling of the situation by PSG tbh they can’t lose now, dropping him from the preseason tour and acting like they’ll happily not play him again totally forces his hand. Would love to see it. Either way we win imo. I think Real would really think about it if someone else comes forward looking like a genuine buyer for Mbappe. That is a bit unfair. Marina ended up in her position 11 years after Roman bought the club - being in different positions before that for almost 4 years. Things take time to settle. So what’s the solution here II wonder? Him agreeing another short term deal at PSG makes no sense because they’ll be in this exact same situation again. Even if he did somehow end up there what do they do with Vini Jr who is arguably the best LW in the world currently?
