I hope they do get input from the new manager.

Still just a talent, at the moment for all his talent and skill, he is a hinderance on our play the more the weeks go on. A decent striker or AM cuts across Militao last night, as the commentator rightly said, instead of taking themselves wide and making the angle worse.

Enzo extends his contract until 2032

Chelsea have reportedly taken advantage of a clause in midfielder Enzo Fernandez's contract to extend his deal until 2032.

Midfielder only signed in January
Has already extended deal
Contract now runs until 2032
WHAT HAPPENED? Fernandez only signed for Chelsea in the January transfer window but has already extended his deal with the Blues, according to reporter Cesar Luis Merlo. The club have activated an option in his existing deal which means he is now contracted to the club until June 2032. The World Cup winner initially signed an eight-and-a-half-year deal at Stamford Bridge after arriving from Benfica in a deal worth £106.8 million ($131m).

Ucking ek!

Presumably, since the new rule is not yet in place, this means we can now extend the remaining amortisation of his fee even further. Unless the announcement of the new rule included a provision preventing this, we can look forward to twitter squealing if we do reduce his annual cost some more.

Looking likely we will lose Colwill at the end of the season, Liverpool and City readying bids, and we are stuck with KK and CUCU

I wouldn't be too concerned about this currently.

The reports this morning of this interest confirm Chelsea don't want to sell him and are looking to get his contract extended. If we do need to sell a couple of academy players this summer (or that eases the club's position with regards to FFP) then I do believe he'll be near the bottom of that list with Reece, unless he suggests he's not going to sign a new contract and wants to leave. Even in that situation, I'd be inclined to hold on to him for one more year and try to convince him his long term future is here, I genuinely think he'll be a huge star.
