Pizy 18,928
Now confirmed, Villa sign Diego Carlos. That surely can’t be goo for our Koundé pursuit. They get that deal done seemingly instantly yet Sevilla act like total cunts when we’ve been working in signing Koundé…

Much as I’d love to move Lukaku I don’t think there’s a chance of that. So yes, he’ll still be here. Between he, Nkunku, and Havertz that should be plenty of goals. I wouldn't put my hopes on Nkunku. Have you forgotten Werner's numbers at the same team prior to joining us? I believe you should never buy someone coming off their first notable season unless it's something extraordinary. 20 minutes ago, Blues Forever said: Yes, they need to raise €60m profit before June 30. Marotta pretty much confirmed they will sacrifice 1 high profile player (Bastoni, Skriniar, or Barella). We should be going all out for Barella. Gvardiol and Bremer should be our CBs. Perisic on a free. Leaves room in the budget for one attacker like Raphinha. Kepa should go to Newcastle. They can have Lukaku too if they like. AC and Rudi leaving, probably Ziyech following them out. Wish Jorginho would go back to Italy. Alonso and Azpi are past their prime. We should keep the latter for CB and WB cover. Team next year GK- Mendy, Back up, Youngster CB - Silva, Azpi, Trev, Gvardiol, Bremer, Colwill WB- James, Chilwell, Perisic, Azpi CM- Kova, Gallagher, Kante, Barella, RLC AM - Puli, Werner, CHO, Raphinha, Mount ST - Havertz, Lukaku, Broja This team still isn't getting the league but will get us top 4 at least. Blues Forever 1,232
At the request of Romelu Lukaku, a meeting is expected next week between one of his representatives and Inter. Lukaku's goal is to find a solution, but it will be very complicated. MoroccanBlue

Would really prefer Barella though and the only way of making that work out might be keeping our only Italian in Jorginho.

Pizy 18,928
The least Barca-like player possible. The anti-Barca if you will. There’s more of a chance that I play for Barca than Lukaku, ffs. 😂

Bastoni is the same as Barella, he does not want to leave Italy, perhaps even more so Obviously (I have pushed him literally for years and years going back to when he was in Cagliari) I would LOVE to have Barella but the more viable ones (in terms of possible coming to the Chels and the English game) on Inter who I rate are this handful of players: CB Milan Skriniar (adjusted better to a back 3 this season, was a monster, and still thrives in a back 2 as well) LWB Ivan Perisic (on a free, he was their player of the year, 5 goals, 6 assists in the last 2 months of the season) CF Lautaro Martínez (likely far too expensive when considering what Inter would want, he had 25 goals in only 3293 minutes) LWB Robin Gosens (25 goals 18 assists over his last two full seasons minutes worth of play, he was injured most of this season with a bad hamstring tear) DMF Marcelo Brozovic (Jorginho replacement but he turns 30yo this coming fall, we should have grabbed him ages ago if we truly wanted him, now it is likely too late, and a free transfer is not an option, as he turns 34yo a few months after his brand new (2 months old) contract expires end of June, 2026)

Kounde is much more suited to RWB and James can take it easy at RCB. That leaves LCB to cover(idk if skriniar is left footed but I think they need some ability as a fullback which I know he doesn't have. The only inter players you highlighted that I would consider are the LWBs. I would be so happy with either and with Kounde, we would not have a meltdown mid-season because our WBs got injured.
