Mount is our no. 1 BU as a winger anyway. CHO will only start in Caraboa and some FA Cup matches

I dont think ... He plays anywhere that Lampard asks him ... So default backup for winger - No ... backup for anything else - Yes

Summary:

Chelsea first target for CDM position is Declan Rice. They're looking for other players as well but no concrete interest and Blues have not put any bid for Rice.

Chelsea is unlikely to sign any other player because Chelsea mentality is to get there #1 target this season. The club's mentality to sign players have changed completely.

Emerson was Inter's first target till June but after that their priority is to sign Alonso. Both are 50-50. The player will leave only on loan cause Inter cannot pay the asking price.

One of Tomori or Rudiger will leave Chelsea. Everton manager fancies Tomori and is desperate to sign him. Rudiger may go back to Italy. But no concrete interest from any club for Rudiger. His agent is trying to find a club for him.

Chelsea are not looking to sign any winger this window. CHO is likely to stay. He wants to play more. Could be an important couple of weeks for CHO.

Marina and Cech are doing a great job at Chelsea, but the main man to behind all the signing is Frank Lampard. Without him, these signings would not have been possible.

For next season t/f window Chelsea will buy 2-3 top players. And are looking to sign CB. The main target is Gimenez from Atletico Madrid. But his release clause is 120m. And Atletico doesn't sell players if the club is not looking to activate the release clause.

Chelsea could Sign players from South American League next season. Chelsea scouts are monitoring Kaio Jorge of Santos. They're just scouting nothing concrete. But expect some signing from South American League next season.

Chelsea may look to sign a GK next season if Kepa doesn't improve. Chelsea is now comfortable to do deal with Mino Raiola players. Donnarumma will not be a free agent next summer as he has already signed a contract with AC Milan. But something could happen there.

Fab was completely shocked when Chelsea grew there interest in Kai Havertz. He was completely shocked as Bayern was looking to sign him next summer. He received a call from one of his source at CL final half time saying Chelsea and Leverkusen have signed a deal. And Leverkusen contacted Roma during half time of CL final to finalize Patrik Schick deal.

Kante links with Inter, Kante links with Arsenal. The same Athletic that you are using to bash FL says that the only way we buy Rice is if we sell Kante/jorginho (as has Law, as has ROmana). But since it does fit the agenda, it becomes "my agenda" about Kante. Managers may say the truth from time to time, but is this the time? Its anyways a buyer's market, would we weaken our position in any negotiation tactics?

Also IF kante and jorginho are "WANTED" by FL, please tell me how is Rice a possibility? We are going to have Kante, Jorgi, Rice, Gilmour, Kova, Mount, Kai, Barkley, RLC for 3 positions?

The reason why I said it is your agenda because you are the only one who keeps on going about it here, about selling Kante even though there are no substantiated rumors about the interests. I am inclined to believe that Conte wants Kante at Inter but (a) we reportedly turned down their bid some weeks ago, (b) Lampard publicly said he is not for sale - and if we were to sell him now, what kind of message will that send to the others? - and (c) Inter are trying to comply with Financial Fair Play and they cannot go spend big unless they sell someone for big money. Martinez was the only one they could sell for big money to Barcelona but even that has gone quiet while Barcelona are trying to sort their mess out. Plus, Inter have just signed Vidal from Barcelona. As for Kante to Arsenal...do you really believe that? I think that came from some random Twitter fella yesterday and again, there is nothing substantiated over this.

As for Jorginho, I never said "he is wanted by Lampard". I only said it is all rumors talk about selling him and there is nothing substantiated. Between Kante and Jorginho, I am definitely way more open to selling the latter than the former but unfortunately ever since Sarri got sacked by Juventus, there has been nothing about clubs in Italy wanting to buy Jorginho. Roma were mentioned briefly some weeks back but nothing has happened. So really, who are the takers for Jorginho out there?

Also and we spoke about this before, let's say if we sell Kante and buy Rice, then Rice will be our only midfielder with a defensive nous in the team. Is that a wise decision to have only one? We definitely need depth with the defensive minded midfielders and given we have constantly moaned about our defensive failings, we would be much better off with Kante, Rice plus the other midfielders - with one sold obviously and ideally Jorginho - than Rice with the others and Kante gone.

There is no substantiated rumors about interests in Kante so its my "agenda". And yet we are able to happily Bash FL based on a random article? Thats not an agenda? Atleast mine is based off on simple logic that having all 3 of Kante, Rice, Jorginho is impossible. Jorginho does not seem to be getting any interest, Kante is rumored to, hence likely to leave if we want to get Rice. Atleast I dont claim to be privy to FL's thinking about where he wants to play Rice and bash him for it.

By the way, it is also ironic that you came after me for believing what was said in The Athletic despite Lampard hasn't said anything about Rice while you are here believing the rumors about Kante even though Lampard has publicly said he won't be going anywhere.

I agree that he should know based on training and the matches, but our players might give him mixed signals lol. The stats of Mount do not look that bad, even though on the pitch, he shows not that much

And also Lampard said in a press conference that the sale of KDB and Salah were mistakes made by the club and he will not make them with Mount etc. Because he knows young players are inconsistent. With that big of a squad, you sometimes get confused.

Looks like he is doing that mistake right now with CHO. Before season I was sure that he will be 1st backup for both Ziyech and Pulisic. Now with both out he got 10mins in 2 games?!

Also about training I think this is the issue. We heard many times that Mount is working so hard on training (coming on day off etc...) and CHO is probably just doing normal like others. So Frank sees this and thinks: I cannot bench Mason because he works harder than CHO and others.

But I think this is wrong. Determination is great but do not ignore talent...

Starting to wonder if Lampard actually even knows himself what he wants...

No. Giroud from sitting in the stands to becoming our 1st striker scoring every game and now he is back where he started - 3rd choice. Jorginho from being starter, we played his best system earlier last season to be dropped behind Gilmour and now again he is our captain starting.

Many other examples... Formation, positions of players, lineups... He has no idea.

Who said Giroud is 3rd choice? He's not

Is Jorginho only in there 'cos Billy's injured and Frank wanted 2 DMF

Frank doesn't want one rigid system as per Wenger, so he tries different formations

And until we get back to having all the squad we don't know who his best teams will be.

And as for having "no idea" ha aint done that bad so far, long may it continue.

You're just showing you hatred of Lamps and Mount.

What is the confusion here?

Do we have a doubt that our intereat in rice is legit? NO

Can we realistically have jorgi, kante, rice in the squad? Hell NO.

Who among kante and jorginho is gaining interest even in rumored? Or who can we see giving us actual big money. I mean why are you twisting things? I have said before and will say it again, I love kante. I want hin to stay. But if we are to buy rice, I am 90% sure, we will have to sell kante as he is the only one to actually have teams chasing him. Am I clear now?

You must also believe that FL is truly happy with kepa and won't be selling. Right? Come on man.

Lampard is my all time favorite player. I do not rate Mount as a player, is that not allowed? I see many others are joining the club.  I would be ok with him being squad player and having same treatment like others.

But I never post abusing comments. I just make fun in a sarcastic way about Lamps-Mount love story so no hate.

Abraham got his chance from the bench and Werner is playing both games 90mins so Olie is 3rd choice now.

Lampard said Cech was influential in the club targeting and signing Mendy.

Well let's hope Cech got it right, because if Mendy is worse then Kepa then that's Cech head.
