WHU are going all out for Tarkowski from Burnley, wonder if this sits in with Declan Rice.

Has there been any real reports as to WHERE FL wants to play Rice? Last interview I read with Rice he said he liked playing DM cause he felt more control of the team. But I still dont believe those reports saying FL wants to keep the wee baldy man. But at same time we need better as CB. So my heads confused.

Does anyone know what if anything happened with Tomori?
I know he had a couple of small injuries but its very strange that FL seemed to drop all faith or trust in him after relying on him at Derby. Did summet happen?

Liverpool made a lot of money through selling Coutinho and invested that extremely well. Chelsea do the same with the Hazard funds and Klopp starts talking about clubs being funded by oligarchs and counties.

It’s just interesting, that’s all.:dunno:

Rival fans and managers are so salty that Chelsea are doing excellent business this window.

Well as I think I managed to watch 4 games last season (and gotta admit Im glad I missed alot of our sad home game defeats especially) You dont know how excited I am with this window. I remember it was electric up in MH when Cescy and Diego came. We all felt something good was going to happen. Well I got that same feeling/ I honestly NEVER thought we stood a cat in hells chance at Werner - let alome Havertz!! OK Id have loved Telles instead of Chilwell and would give my left dangley for KK next to Thiago (Id have even played Sarr than most current options)  and Rice as CDM but Im not greedy.
Lets just hope they all gel well. Cant wait to see them all on together. Going to be a interesting season!

Welcome back sir

The only problem is he is not a top player, actually not even close.

I said a top player for a rival club. Further, my post wasn't a prediction it is rather the story the club/press could be telling themselves/want to peddle.

He is the smallest CB and weakest in the air. I think there is nothing more to it than that. Further, because he went missing I think people are forgetting that his form dropped quite badly around Nov time. On a number of occasions he overplayed in very dangerous positions and SFL was clearly agitated by it.

Jurgen 'we're anything but arrogant' Kloop. I wouldn't take him too seriously.

Going to be a pretty weird dynamic if we don't have Mendy in ASAP. If Kepa starts the first few matches and gets yanked out and replaced it'll probably destroy his psyche. Would be equally as strange if Kepa plays a few blinders and then a ~£25m new keeper comes in and replaces him.

This is why it was probably not smart waiting until this late to sort the keeper situation. Going into match 1 knowing who our new keeper is and having him training with the boys is what would've been idea.
