John Terry

Just like the issue with Lampsy last season, lots of complaining and moaning but nothing has happened yet. And if he does go... we don't need him in the truest sense. I think the thought of losing Frank was worse last season, just based on his huge contribution on the pitch. Terry is a great leader but as what was said thousands of times over, NO ONE is bigger than the club. So don't go killing yourselves now.

Pure arguement needs to be placed in front of JT if he is even seriously considering leaving.

1. We have Champions League games to play.

2. He would lose the respect of every football fan in the world who knew even the tiniest bit about him, as everyone knows JT is Chelsea.

3. He is the heart and soul of this team - not like Man City where he would have to compete with (no description necessary) like Barry and Robinho.

4. We all love him. Show some loyalty.

Nothing about a JT move to Man City makes any sense. But the press have milked this story for all it's worth and probably made a good few sales out of it!! But now it is becomming tedious and as much as he shouldn't have to it IS now time for JT to come out and say something.

Of all the players, i just could never see Terry do this. The longer this goes on, the more respect i lose for him. Its obvious he wants a Pay Rise at Chelsea, he could just have come out and said "I want to stay at Chelsea" and that would have been that.

my father in law is a very knowledgeable

man & knows his football,& he says cash in on terry now.co`s the stats say he`s getting slower & more prone to injuries.

Yes i agree his prime was at 26 he is slowing down and everyone can tell.

Much as I have always & still do like JT, it would seem that for reasons of his own, he is seriously interested in making this move, or personally benefiting from the threat of making it.

I think it fair to say Chelsea have never been averse to making managerial changes when things have been going well & I cant see any difference here, the Captain is half management anyway. No one can be allowed to become bigger than the club itself - if a now past his prime & slowing John Terry demands more money, its simply time for us to let him go & for the club to cash in to the maximum - £45million+

Cant think of a better way to go if Roman really wants to change the style of football Chelsea play than to change both the Captain & Coach in time for next season.

calm down people there's no way he's leaving.

i read the supposed articles and they're laughable.

dont you think that like JT it's a perfect opportunity to bump up his contract, shity have just instituted JT's new Chelsea contract not only does he get an extension he's gets a bucket load more cash..........and he says thanks shity.

JT will be lifting the Champions League Cup next season in Chelsea blue believe me.

John Terry is the heart and sole of Chelsea FC but if he leaves, it would prove that really he's nothing but a greedy cunt who cares for money only and not the team or the fans that love him and adore him. If he goes, he can fuck himself and i hope we win the champions league without him. Hope we treat him like Gallas, he'll never get my respect again if he turns his back on us for a bit more money being a multi millionaire anyway.

I still can't see him going but if he does, fuck him

What pisses me off, is that these bunch of Arabs can just wave a bunch of notes in front of anyone's noses, no matter how loyal they are to their clubs, and they can just attract them over. They did it with Gareth Barry, when he was a one man club with Aston Villa, they'll do it with other world class players, and they're not even in the Champions League!!

I'm going to hate Terry if he goes for the money, but I'm going to hate the smug looking faces on those Arabs who attracted my hero over there! BASTARDS!

These arabs are toying with the Premier League and I don't like it!!

We toyed with the Premier League in the very same way so I suggest you remember that CJ.

If Terry goes for money (and it won't be anything else), then he can piss off. But I'd still like to think he sees loyalty, captaincy, familiarity, Champions League football, and respect, as greater than a bigger paycheck.

I agree, JT is a Chelsea legend but if he does leave then we'll have to deal with it. People have to realize that we have strong leaders on our team besides him and it isn't like he's still the best CB in the world.
