I love Kai, but he is terrible at playing up top against deep defenses with huge CB’s like this. He needs space to run into and to be running at defenders. He’s almost useless with his back to goal and gets pushed around too easily. Also doesn’t help that Kante and Jorginho have basically zero eye for a creative through ball.

Trouble is we have no other fit player to switch things up.

It’s Reece’s that’s really frustrating because we know he’s capable of making spectacular crosses. But they only seem to come when we’re on the counter. When he has to cross against defenders that are already in position and set his delivery is woeful.
